Tried the ice pack thing on my elbow last night after my chest session and it seems to have really helped.

My arms were hurting before my session and also during but they seem okay now.

Chest session went well again. I managed to stay on the 40s which was my goal. I think a step up might be possible next week but not too sure.

I weighted myself yesterday as well and was quite surprised at the result.

When I started back in January I was 15st 10lb if I remember correctly.

Last night I was 107kg which is 16st 11lb.

I knew I'd got a bit bigger but didn't realise it was that that much!!

I don't think I've put any additional fat on so all in all I'm pretty happy with that.

In the past I've been 16st 10lb lean so I'm still not quite what I once was. Still at least I'm making good progress.

Couldn't train Monday due to a cheeky Alton Towers trip. Have to say I really enjoyed it despite only going on 3 rides.

Nemesis >>> Rita >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Air in my opinion.

I can honestly that I haven't laughed as much in ages as when I was on Nemesis and Rita. Top fun and well worth the extra wait for front row seats.

Following the day off I'm now going to struggle to get 4 sessions in this week due to the Monte Carlo at DTD.

Obviously if I donk off early it won't matter so hopefully I end up falling behind in the prop.

Had a tough time with my chest session yesterday. My mind wasn't in the right place at all and I was just going through the motions.

I'm surprised I managed to keep to the 40s but somehow I did.

My mrs spent the whole time nagging me to go on oblivion. I'm like no way because i'm hungover and sick. She keeps nagging. She eventually drags me over and we queue all feckin afternoon in the hot sun. We finally get on this thing, the bars come down, and we set off. She insta starts crying her eyes out. She cried the whole way round. I'm just sitting there head pounding thinking wtf is going on??

Oblivion is pretty rubbish anyway, just a big drop. Nemesis is far, far better.

Soaking unsuspecting people on the pirate boat ride is pretty decent too.

Fair point, I went on the busiest day of the year a couple of years back (we were queuing from the A50!!) and got on loads more rides.

Ace: I think it depends how many times you've been on them - Oblivion gets boring pretty quickly but Nemesis is still good
