without  sounding like a tw@t i do realise i wont die and i would still be alive in three weeks time if i ate f all and just drank water!
however i suppose its will power of not snacking same as it was giving up smoking!
 i do suffer from lack of motivation and i think this last post from your kind self is going to help
i think this is why i posted it on here in the first place  (apart from the sponsorship monies).
i am a bit like my kids and perform better with help guidance and encouragement and support.

as of tomorrow i will post my diet everyday on my sponsorship page for a week
i will start
day 1 my normal diet (changed from before i started this but what i eat now)
day2 i will try yours or similar
day3 fucked if i know lets get thru day 2 first!!

Hey Lee. Glad you took a bit of what I said on board. Obviously I was having a bit of a dig but trying to be gentle with it.

A couple of observations on what you've said:

Firstly why eat your normal diet tomorrow? Why not start your new regime straight away? We don't need to know what you used to eat just what you're going to be eating.

You mention that if you ate "f all and drank water" that you'd still be alive. Nobody ever suggested eating f all. Do you honestly think that what I'm eating is f all? There's 1lb of lean meat in there every day + eggs and healthy snacks. Hardly f all.

If you want help and guidance I honestly don't mind helping. In fact I'd get a lot of pleasure out of it if you achieve your goal.

What you need to know though is that I won't be all nice, lovely and forgiving if you get lazy and have a bad day. I'm a nasty git and I'll just pull you up on it and tell it like it is. If you don't like that then please let me know to save yourself from hating me.

If you want help then that help is here but it won't be wrapped up in ribbons.

some guys eat up to 90 a week (if you check some fitness forums). Don't think there's a massive issue with it TBH (Though I also remember being told when I was younger that having more than 1 egg a day would kill you).

Egg yolks are full of nice and tasty goodness, including good cholesterol. Too many eggs can also raise your "bad" cholesterol though so, if you're keeping an eye on your cholesterol I wouldn't have too many.

the whites are fine though and it obviously all depends on how much training you do as well.

Yeah, I'll just go through the racecards in the hotel on Saturday morning, decide what I really fancy at approx 4-1 or 5-1...and then go for the 20-1 I think "has a small chance" as that's the one that will no doubt piss in.

Today's food:

10.00am - Breakfast. 2 whole eggs + 4 egg whites omelette.

1.00pm - Lunch. 225g lean mince made in to chilli + 1 x pitta.

3.00pm - Flapjack

4.30pm - Pre training. Banana.

5.30pm - After training. Protein shake.

6.30pm - Flapjack.

11.00pm - 225g chicken made in to curry + 50g rice.

I'm going to have to post my daily food intake as well.  Quite different to Matt's approach.  How many calories a day are you eating Matt (approximately)?

One question Matt - what do you drink during the day?  Just asking as you haven't mentioned it (other than the shake, which is food really).

If I've got them in the cupboard I'll have protein bars as well.

Another decent one is a tablespoon of peanut butter.

I'm npot having them atm because I haven't got them.
