Today's food:

10.30am - Breakfast. 2 whole eggs + 4 egg whites omelette.

2.00pm - Lunch. 225g extra lean minced steak made in to chilli

5.30pm - Flapjack.
i was at asda earlier went looking for these they got like 400 odd calories in?Huh?Huh???

That's because they'll be full of butter, sugar and other tasty stuff.

The ones I have are from a body building supplement supplier and are made very differently

Sawdust, manjuice and sprinkled with love

These are the ones you want Lee http://www.bodybuildingwarehouse.co.uk/cnp-pro-flapjack---24-bars-115-p.asp

The more you buy the cheaper they are, you can buy 5 boxes for £85 free delivery which should last you a good few months. These ones are my favourites and I did sometimes have one after a workout for a change from a shake. Decent profile and decent taste too!

Ha ha. They're actually quite tasty but I don't deny a lot taste exactly like you describe.

Yeah I had the peanut Pro XS ones for a while and they're very chewy like you said. I've switched to these now http://monstersupplements.com/store/p/457/1/Peak-Body-PRO-50---21-bars.html They're pretty chewy but the Strawberry ones I really like and they're like  a cheat. I normally split them and have 1/2 before gym or as a dessert with lunch.

Looking at what's in them though you definitely don't need a full one!!

Yeah the only time I eat a full one is as a meal replacement if I'm in a rush, I normally just have 1/2 of one with a can of Tuna or a Prawn Salad in the day while working. I'll also sometimes have 1/2 of one at night with a Tbsp of Peanut Butter when I'm not really feeling like more chicken/steak

Evilpie's top tip of the day: A great way of cutting down your daily calorie consumption is to stay in bed 'til 1 o'clock in the afternoon.

Today's food:

1.30pm - Breakfast. 2 whole eggs + 4 egg white omelette.

7.30pm - Dinner. 225g chicken/lamb made in to a curry + 50g rice.

9.30pm - flapjack

10.00pm - Banana.

Haha that'll do it alright, I find the only time I sleep in really late is weekends and I normally eat pretty much as I want then which cancels it out....

Friday

1230: 2 Slices W/M with PB and 1 scoop Syntha 6

1500: Prawn Salad and 1/2 Pro 50

19:30 5oz steak sliced in a stir fry with Cabbage, Beansprouts, Mushrooms, Onions and Peppers in Teriyaki sauce

22:30 As above

23:30 1/2 Pro 50

03:00 2 Scoops Propeptide

Saturday

15:00 1 Slice W/M and 1 1/2 Scoops Syntha 6
,
18:00 Roast Chicken (skinless sighhh), roast potatoes, swede/carrot, broccoli and stuffing with couple yorkshires. No pudding.

22:30 6 Skewers of Chicken Satay with Peanut sauce

02:30 1 Scoop Syntha 6

Through the evening I ate 2 dairy milk bars and a pack of fruitella. Not a full blown cheat but not really ideal eating by any stretch Cheesy

Is Sytha 6 better than impact whey protein?

Is that MyProtein Impact Whey?

If so then no it's not better in a profiling sense as it's only 50% protein per 44g scoop and is pretty expensive. I mix it up between this and CNP Propeptides just because I was getting bored of the same shakes.

As far as taste goes it's the best I've ever tasted which is obviously reflected in the profile. I've been told that Gaspari Myofusion is also meant to be top notch and may try that once I've worked through these flavours. Strawberry is incred and the Cookies 'n' Cream is very good too.

It's what you get every weekend when you're single and live on your own with a dog who will happily have a lie in of his own.

1st in 5 weeks is easy peasy. Keep us updated.

Yeah it's the impact whey I take. The choc smooth is amazing...and I went through 2.5 kg of raspberry when I first started using it...it's fine but gets a bit dull. the strawberry cream is like McDonalds milkshake....yummmm

Yeah I tried a couple of samples and they were decent enough. I might get a couple 1kg bags from them next time to see which I like. I've not tried the strawberry creme one though. The Syntha 6 one is insanely nice but given it's profile that's why.

Strawberry is prob my fave flavour but I can't handle Propeptide in that flavour and after 4 tubs of Chocolate I needed a change. I'll donk off a few quid on a coupel MP pouches then and see what they're like when my Propep runs out.
