Just starting lunch and I've realised that I've forgotten my relish to go with my chicken.

In case anybody's wondering 225g of plain chicken breast is basically fucking horrible.

Nothing at all to go with it?  Not even some ketchup or something?

Not a thing mate!!

Had to give up and go to the shops for a jar of low fat dolmio in the end. I couldn't handle it.

I think it's harder to eat plain chicken breast than pretty much anything else, even cream crackers.

Today's food:

9.00am - Banana

1.30pm - 225g turkey + low fat relish

5.30pm - Protein bar.

8.30pm - 225g extra lean minced steak with low fat dolmio + 50g whole wheat pasta.

11.30pm - Protein bar.

Matt, you've probably covered this earlier, but how much protein is in one of your bars and in one of your flapjack things (and how much carb and fat)?

Flapjack (75g):

287 calories
18.8g protein
37.4g carbs
6.8g fat (2.7g of which are saturated)
2.8g fibre

Protein bar (70g)

245 calories
32.2g protein
18.8g carbs
4.55g fat (3.36g of which are saturated)
8.57g fibre

Thanks.  The flapjack is pretty similar to the carb/protein bars aimed at runners in terms of its composition.  What is it and where do you get it from?

Too much saturated fat Tom. Makes you act injured all the time.

It's the ones Marky said but I get them from here:

http://www.thesupplementstore.co.uk/brands/cnp_professional/chemicalnutritionflapjacks-cnp_professional_pro_flapjacks_24_bars.htm

http://www.thesupplementstore.co.uk/brands/cnp_professional/chemicalnutritionprobarxs-cnp_professional_pro_bar_xs_12_bars.htm

Little bit cheaper and I've never had any problems with delivery at all.

Was a box short once, emailed them and they sent one out next day. 1st class service.

You playing DTD on Sunday? I'll bring one for you to try if you are.

If not I'll bring to the deepstack a week on Friday.

If you just want to buy some just get them mate. If you don't like them I'll buy them off you.

The only upside of BBW is that you don't pay delivery charges even if you only order one tub of whey or something and you can get 5 boxes for £85 which saves a nice chunk.

My eating hasn't been great this week, I've not been feeling too well since Monday so only ate some chicken, steak yesterday and today I've eaten absolutely nothing. Hoping to feel better though as I had big plans this weekend.

I had 2 tickets to the United game Saturday in block 124 too which is probably almost the best tickets going. The money flying about was too much though and I sold them to pay for Vegas. The guy who bought them said he should be able to get me in on the day though with him and to come up Saturday.

I also was hoping to go to DTD Sunday for the Heroes tournament as I've managed to wangle Sunday off and bag a room at 'Chez Blake' too. I don't want to use a one time yet though with Vegas round the corner and hopefully some binkage coming my way there!!

I won't be going anywhere though if I feel like this, I've only trained twice in 2 weeks due to being rough and I could do without it on the run in to Vegas. Fingers crossed that I can stage a miraculous recovery over the next 2 days and not spend the weekend watching Britain's Got Talent reruns on ITV2.....
