So last week's Monday and Tuesday sessions weren't great. I didn't feel like training at all and I put it down to having a break and just getting back from holiday.

I now know it was actually because I had the onset of a cold which just made me feel a bit low.

I'm pleased about this because I honestly questioned my motivation this time last week. I really felt like I couldn't be arsed!!

Anyway I've been today and it was brilliant. I really enjoyed it!!

Basically I'm back!!!

Yeah if you google Bartendaz / Hannibal etc there's loads of good stuff.

One of the things is that they never train with weights, it's all bar work.

I've tried that out for the last week or so while I've been a bit stressed and irritated by a couple things, I was still training too and it sure worked out well Sad

No they don't.

Unless they like to mostly eat really good stuff of course.

Trained arms today and it was a really good session.

I've been strict with food as well and I'm going to continue this for now.

Today's food:

Breakfast - 50g oatmeal mixed in to protein shake.

Lunch - 130g tuna, 130g rice (cooked weight), 75g sweetcorn

Pre training - 45g protein shot

After training (dinner) - 175g chicken, 150 g mixed veg made in to stir fry with low fat chinese sauce

Probs be having omelette for supper

Really want to get my diet sorted out. It's reasonable recently anyway but there's a lot of room for improvement.

Today is pretty much where I'd like to be every day so will try to stick to this or similar.

Go to 1 minute 50 seconds in the vid below:

Then on 20 seconds in the vid below:

Sure seems like they take nutrition as important as they do their exercise

Quality chest session today.

I managed the 45kg dumbells but only for 6 reps. Also did 2 sets of 8 with the 40s then blasted out 22 on the 20s.

Very pleased with this to say I've not done anything serious for a few weeks now.

Diet has been very good again today. Exactly the same as yesterday to be precise.

Couldn't be happier with training at the moment.

Wish I could say the same about work Sad
