Same old same old - remember Joe Jordan at Anfield in 1977. Maradona in 86, Schumacher assaulting Battiston in 1982, Koemans getting Graham 'do I not like that' Taylor the sack ... all mistaken decisions by the officials, all pivotal

Rugby League and Union manage to use Video Refs pretty effectively, no real reason why Football shouldn't do the same.

Shame they can't do their usual rewriting of the rulebook and at least offer the Irish the chance of the Penalty Shootout they earned though.
