The Wednesday night tournament is shite whatever the format. Never any play left final two tables.
Thursday is the new Wednesday.
While the votes of confidence are being handed out, I'd also like to say that I have total belief in Sir Donksalot's game and there's no way he'll finish in the bottom half of the table.

Not a single leagueite out of the 38-strong contingent at last night's well-structured tournament final table. It's a dark day for all things league, so much so that one of the league elders was spotted wandering around the streets of Enfield at 5am this morning, shaking his head and with tears running down his cheeks.

[EDIT] Elder is now happily feasting on a BK whopper with McDonald's fries, smiling away and with no more tears, after I texted him the good news about Eric's debut third.

Was anyone there last night :-) I guess you will just have to believe me that I finished 3rd in the 80-runner £50 deepstack , my first game of 2010 :-)

I don't know who the first two were, but there were royal pains ;-) constantly going on about some strange idea callled a "deal" what is this thing ? I play to win, not sure if that is the proper etiquette in Luton ;-) lolololol but tough cookies, I will NEVER "deal"

3handed there was plenty of play left as far as I was concerned, but of course I was the naive lucky beginner that hit the deck all night long, not a bad assumption if they had seen all my cards and there guesses had been right, but as I rarely show either ......

I went out TT vs AK , then they finally made their deal, I was extremely happy with £550 for 3rd :-)
I hope to be back on Friday , hope to see more Forumites there.

Oops, sorry Mr Kite, was bound to happen that I'd miss one of the new names in a result. I'll amend the table forthwith.
The only names that caught my eye were in-form mullet-boy Michael Bolton and Suzanne Piefinch. She sounds like my kind of bird.
