Not sure I agree about the 'insomnia factor' when it comes to everything Drainy posts. I found myself giggling at the 'locked out' tale. However, you do make a good point as well. There are other blogs/diaries on blonde...and he definitely should start one of his own. Not necessarily because it doesn't belong here, but mostly because he has so much to say in his day.
Start a blog thread Drainy. Then you can have as much fun as ya like with it as it will be all yours. And the people who prefer to keep this thread limited to G chat will be happy too. Happy happy all around, no?

Sigh...after my gf gets her new i phone 4 i realise what a piece a shit my top of the range blackberry is for internet and apps...unfortunatley I have to have it as I cant use an i phone in conjunction with my companys xchange system.
So off we toddle to lakeside apple store and kerching £500 later i have a new i phone...sigh...sure doesn't take a micro sim ffs. GG me.
As an aside the apple store has the weirdest most purchaser unfriendly serving system in the universe. Took 10 minutes to find the unmarked queue line which was being served by a guy stood 30 feet away beckoning people forward so he could sell them 500 quid i phones from an unsecured plastic box under an easily accessed desk. Sod his luck if Celtics Glasgow mates ever discover this.
So when you see me carrying 2 phones you know y...

Yes plz. Ok. I'll start with last night actually because I visited a new place. Welwyn Garden City. Never had any business there before so it had completely passed me by. What a strange place. Thought I'd been transported out of the UK into Stepford - everything symmetrical, dead straight roads and square blocks. Topiary and flowerbeds neatly lined up around the place. Don't like it. This morning I attended my indiction on the 'Opportunities London' course - lots of in depth help for people who are out of work and 'hardest to help'. was pretty good actually and feeling pretty positive about getting back on my feet again. Hannah's away at London zoo with a friend today, so plenty of opportunity for housework after I got back here at lunchtime. Instead have been mostly pissing about on blonde/facebook and msn. Had 2x sainsbury's taste the difference burgers with mozzarella melted on top for lunch. My wardrobe today is jeans and stripy light-knit jumper and my hair is in a ponytail. In a minute I'm going to have a cuppa then go collect Hannah at 5. We'll then go to sainsbury's to get something for dinner, then probably play a game of connect 4, maybe some hungry hippos and/or guess who if we're feeling adventurous. Hannah in bed 9ish, and I'll settle down for an evening of big brother and more internet based nonsense. (c) Lifestyles of the rich and famous. |
