Richie Pru-dish has emailed the G begging suggesting that they reconsider the new Monday shite night tourney.
As this thread is read by said middle-management how about we record here what we think is good about the new Monday.

Here's my contribution.

.................errrr, nothing.

Any other more positive views?

I think the lack of bums on seats this coming Monday will demonstrate clearly what the punters think of a poxy ten quid re-buy, with an even poxier thousand pound guarantee     ......      that's dependant on 40 runners turning up!

At Walsall they guarantee four grand for their fifteen quid re-buy, each Wednesday!

At Cov they guarantee £5k for their Tuesday comp!

Mr Orford & young Lisa-Marie were both booked to come to Luton next Monday with me, we booked it pre the schedule changes, so this is a real disappointment, & it looks like we'll swerve it now, pah, & go to The Century Club in town.

A real shame, but to be fair, it's horses for courses, & if G-Luton think this will do better as to bums on seats than the previous Monday affair, you can't really blame them.

A shame

My personal opinion is there is very little demand for rebuy bingo on a Monday. Even if want rebuy Bingo, Monday is an odd night for it. Personally I think £10 rebuy with a nice guarantee would fill on a Thursday..and the new £60 Thursday would suit the Monday crowd.

but we will see, if it works it will be here to stay just like Wankers Wednesday.

Ever since the G moved venue and got rid of the £10 rebuy people have been asking for it back as it got bums on seats and people rebought at ridic levels sometimes, 10 rebuys etc etc.

I know economically times are different but give it a try and see what happens.

They used to have a £10 re-buy on Saturday afternoons      .....        it didn't put posteriors on pouffes (ooo errr) - that's why the £40 F/O replaced it!

Poker's moved on     ......      pissed up punters playing re-buys on payday have had their day.

Monday is always gonna struggle unless they put on another £50 wankers' crapshoot imo.

None of us really wants that on a Monday but the G are mad not to imo. Quick, cheap, early night after the weekend, plenty of time afterwards to iron their burberry or hang St George flags out the window, or whatever.

The Luton raiding team on the Gutshit is getting bigger stronger with myself, Celtic, Sir Donkeys and Rob G intended runners.
