Well done to my new best friend Alan mcbink. Never have I felt an urge to tell a man I love him as he slips me large amounts of cash over dinner as I did last night.

Must be nice to have a bit of someone and actually get a return Vincent

Nice one Lucky

In case the above sounds a bit gay, let it be noted that it wasn't me that Vinnie shared a 4 poster hotel room with the night before. Someone else had that pleasure!

Thank you , and lol re Vinnie - I kinda backed him too, for no return.

A bit of background, as I've never asked for any staking or sold any shares before.

On Saturday night after day one finished, Vinnie , somewhat tongue in cheek, asked if I wanted to swap 10%.  Given that I had 72,000 and he had 32,000, I  politely declined.

I do rate Vinnie's play however, and made a counter offer suggesting we swap 10% of me for 20% of him.

Given that he's a better player and that having twice the chips doesn't give you  twice the  tournament equity, I felt this was a fair deal to us both.

Hindsight suggests otherwise now, but it felt fair to us both at the time.

LOLZ, save it for comedy night on 28 October please Andy.

You can start selling at a Sunny Chattha-like premium now Mr Bink.

Like the new Monday comp - good structure, lots of play.  Reckon it'll be a late finish.  Decided not to bother hanging around to find out Smiley

Top-banana structure. Four-way chop completed just after 3am. Me took de win, with more than half the chips in play. Also choppage for smiley Indian woman, the female version of Qereshi, who plays like Kay Pee, random nitroller who took Pizzled out and another random dude. Edna fifth for a saver.

Oh yes, TID with the MOF from 27 RD's last night. Well, 26 RD's plus Edna, whose fifth was good for another six points. Poker is now officially a game of skill once more.
Also present were Clawbird, Barry Manilow-adoring Imperial Pigeoners Pizzled and Holdy, a newly-creative Rockstar and Xpressman.

Edna rubs all night, sigh. Only went and saw through an evil bluff at the final table though.
Felt a bit like Keanu Reeves in The Matrix when he realised he was 'the one' and jumped inside Agent Smith (nice non-obscure reference that 100% of readers should appreciate).
Sent the Evil one spinning out the exit in the direction of Larry The Lobster.

Agree ... top banana structure.  I can see this being my favourite tourny of the week.

Had a right crack with ClaireBear .... not too sure our first table appreciated it though  Grin
