Anyone got any info? I need Monday closure.

So wot news from yesterday's comp?
Nothing on awop.
Presumably looofy finalled again ?

Loofy went quite early as did Mr mcbink...

had the starting table from comedy central yesterday...to my left all in a line..... Dave Courtney, Keith miller, George micheal,chemical Ali, then joined by young banksey, loofer and  Teddy..  try getting a raise through that lot..

The play see sawed between dreadful and downright appalling and was best viewed as a spectator sport.. in the first 2 levels pots were regularly reaching 5-6k and Mr Courtney limp calling utg with 4 7 os and binking on 4 4 3 board v QQ was the highlight... On two separate occasions people shipped their whole stacks in on the turn ( which on one occasion was 15k into 1700 whilst holding the nuts.. On another fenland Paul was holding a set of 10's on an A 10 5 rainbow board and shipped the lot in with a shortie all in and 2 others in the pot...when the hands went over he announced he'd gone allin ' because he didn't want to see another ace '...
eh ? 
i quietly pointed out that it would have given him a boat... and he laughed and said..' oh yeah.. i didn't think of that' LOL

Was ring rusty and out of sorts from non play  and with that line up stuck to playing cards.....

finally got Dave Courtney after he'd re raised me big five times ... i flatted an xpressman raise with aces only to find Mr Courtney shipping 20 k into an 1800 pot on the squeeze with AJ...which still gave me a river sweat when he turned a straight draw...

Willie Tann joined the table  and oozed class although i managed to outplay him in one hand.... until blind on blind my monster J 6 ran into his 7 5 on a J 7 7 board. I managed not to go broke but was down to 10BB which i shipped unraised OTB with 7 8 straight into Teddy's aces... a board of 10 8 7 was nice until the turn was a 10...sigh...no mcbink for me....

in when i left...handsome Paul and pos nirvana.... slow sluggish start to the year but hope to rev it up in the next couple of weeks...no,Celtic or snatty,or USA Dennis in the £5 and with Mr mcbink going out first  my dream team is in tatters already...sigh.

No Chompy either as he must be recovering from his Biloxi Blues..

He was but as I understand it the G pulled their finger out and persuaded him to stay with added training and responsibility for customer relations/internet promotion or something similar. He seems a very happ bunny at the moment.

Of course this story will never run completely smoothly. He told me he was in charge of internet promotion but wasn't allowed to post anything on the internet forums.....

LOL... Ian is a good guy..... grosvenor have some sense then to hang on to him..tbh i think he is prob the best they have and seems to know what he is doing
