No Thursday rebuy for me this week. Priorities ftw. Poker is good but Masterchef is better and there are three episodes for the price of one in its new BBC1 slot. Frog and toad over Avi and Seb this week. Wiiiiiiiii.

Hmmmmmmmmm ..... I presume iPlayer is far 'too modern' for all you country bumkins out in those marshes!
I shall be claiming a mere one point - plus a further three/six points (I can't remember if the turbo crapshoot got over the 75 runners) - for my tenth placed bubble saver ..... paid out by Handsome Paul (I bet you're jealous Chompy .... though I'm willing to sell you the 3 x 20 poundnotes, for your stalker collection, for a mere £75).
The 'comp' :- Greg was playing well until Holdyfoldy arrived at the table. He obviously hadn't had enough Coronas with Whisky chasers to prevent her fluttering eyelids ruining his game .... and he was gone. Once the object of her desire had departed (and with no Stand-in Tom to swoon over), she also lost interest, and the rest of her chips.
No fights/rare ups ensued, and boringly I made the Final Table - and all was going well until a surly, ugly, swarthy, nose picking, bogey eating, wife beating, overweight, smelly, uncouth, Mediterranean terrorist-type looking chappy raised my BB .... looking down at KK, I naturally bashed 'em in .... apparently he "had to call" with his A 10 .... [ ] did 2 x 10 hit the board? .... GG.
I left the table and Handsome P - with at least 99.9% of the chips in play - was looking nailed on to win it.
A certain Glenys Tenderbum was noted lurking round the cash tables - from

early on - having now perfected his totally unique

..... unfortunately for Glen consisting of only the lesser of the two numbers, on offer!
[ ] Six hours play for a net profit of £4 was well worth it.
[ ] Nirvana's Fantasy League price was a snip at £4.5 million.

a) Is it still the skinny payouts ie 40 runners pay top 4? I must say as a nit this just doesn't suit me. I'd like to see seven paid for 40 runners. six maybe. 4 is too few. I made a semi-living (well paid for the next buy in) out of finishing 7th every third comp!
b) What is the official reason given for the low numbers paid? Something to do with standardised national rules isn't it?

a)It remains the same,this will have a negative long term impact on regular players because as you say,regulars generally need to pay for their habit,top 4 isnt good for regular steady payouts.
b)Apparently its all to do with a head office directive that basically makes G cardrooms follow the Gukpt standard formats
c)Ask Luther
d)Yes,one hour of unlimited re-buys,25-30 min clock after the break dependant on runners/chips e.t.c
e)Its back to a fairly good place again,the aggression has passed and some old friendly faces have slowly started to return

What a quality-packed final table it was last night, with Luther, The Flaumster and Tony Deluca all present. Luther picks up a saver point plus the six bonus as he gets back on track after a highly successful stint off the fags.
Otherwise, it sounds as though Handsome Paul tore it to pieces - 21pts sees him shoot up the league.
You're missing the point re: Masterchef Luther. Part of the fun is contributing to my world-famous 'Masterchef in-running' thread on the Betty forum. Also I like to be among the first to know what kind of puree is going to be accompanying scallops week in week out this series. Pea is so last year. I'm going with cauliflower ftw.
