Drainy, as you seem to be having a very bad day with your fellow blondites taking the micheal out of your not so skillfull poker skills, LRRH would like to offer to cook you a special meal bought from her poker winnings yesterday.

Hope this will cheer you - dinner for 7pm

An extra slice of humble pie for pudding is in order

And a bottle of sour grape juice whilst your at it

Blimey - Drainy will have to dash back from Londinium to dig up the required Spring Veg for the meal from his allotment (back garden).

Are your neighbours - Margot and Gerry  - duly invited LRRH?

Darren's fave TV prog;

Will Dan and LRRH be playing poker tonight Dazza?

No doubt you've got to turn the compost heap, or something     ...........

blimey, I can't believe that I've been so busy at work that I missed a dinner offer from some foxy chick

tho I have to say that it woz pretty hard to spot little red's email amongst the abusive and upsetting emails from the Luton g monkeys

I am afraid that I will have to reject the kind offer of dinner tonight, as my first poker training lesson is tonight at 7pm
I spoke to Avi this morning and luckily for me he's free tonight

I'm afraid Avi is far too busy to attend our dinner party tonite so i have invited somebody from the big world of poker instead. He or she has offered to help you on your quest not to be one of the first ones out in future poker tournements.

So dinner will be at 7pm and training begins at 8.30 prompt

Ok so I am on the train (on way home for said hot date) and I was thinking of various players who I haven't seen at the G for a while.

James the zebra muncher is a recent absentee but we know that's cos he's uber busy workwise

So can anyone shed any light on any of these....?

Diddly tiddly
the saddler boys (dad's back obv)
ray Danks
the tearles
mark banin
david morton
jay patel
theo dalton
James Milton
matt arnott
ray hammer and mate dave
graham pound

several of these I have never seen at the g but th list got me thinking about people I haven't seen for a while from the old grosvenor casino

anyone seen any of the above, or know where they hav been?

Drainy

ps - above was inspired by seeing steve templeman at the g last nite (playing blackjack)

Sons of Sadler no longer play by all accounts, too busy with jobs and stuff.
David Tearle decided the only way was down after beating Sir Donkeys heads up last spring, so has scaled things down.
Ray Hammer is off to Vegas for the WSOP and then moving out there in the autumn.

Matt Arnott Online grinder almost exclusively now

Mark Banin Sky TV presenter, occasional, and on London scene

Graham Pound at Luton G for festivals. At Maidenhead/Reading and all cardrooms that way , also involved in a mentoring thingie

The Tearles at Stanleys. One of them in knee high boots is much missed

Ray's mate Dave Taylor: his son plays at the G occasionally

I gather Chris Eddleman is in California. I know not why

Dave Morton: Winters in Australia playing online and with gf, will be back soon

Theo Dalton: Stanmore and London circuit and Luton for festival events

Jay Patel. I know but if I told you they'd kill me.

Don't know Milton. Perhaps his Paradise was Lost

Don't know Danks

Diddly Tiddly no idea

Drainy Senior. Steve Templeman and I are neighbours. Everybody needs good neighbours. Especially ones who tell you last night that the lads in the Black Golf you see by the footpath most nights are peddling stuff to the neighbourhood.

Sigh
