Well done to Glenda and Paulo Noonantini for scorage last nite
more proof that poker is just game of luck
;-)

chomps - three other options for fantasy league inclusion could be Paul denman, michael Bolton and danny (young guy on the oldies table last nite don't know surname plays cash)

Sigh... Last night was a veritable rollercoaster.... got lucky early when i cr with KQ on a K high board and ran into Ak...running cards found me a split that enabled me to bust the chompmeisters Aces with 6 8 DD... which had the added bonus of tilting him... he was in consoleable despite me trying to explain the beauty of these hands...easy to get away from but potential monster slayers with the right flop... 6 8 K fitted the bill....

Then  had to lay 99 and QQ pre flop into very heavy fire, avoiding Aces on both occasions ( I can dodge bullets baby )...

99 again... raised Pizzled blind enough i cant fold..he pushes with KQ and I'm never beating the blessed one in a race ( As a side note..Gavin M8..U r the luckiest sod i ever met ) 3 times he survived with a river card before the Rupinator got him....

With a table move and 10 BB i shipped over the top of a weak limp with 55 straight into nervous Anna's Kings... we both called for me to Bink but the poker gods must have got confused as they flopped him a king....

GG WP...only to be topped by multiple limpers into Celtics BB who announced he was going to flop the nuts as he checked his option..he duly did and got poor rockstar to push stright into him...MBN...

How many points have I done you out of Luther?

I haven't played yet in April, so plan a rare trip over tonight. Scrabble at around 10pm Sir Donkeys? Bringing an OED tonight to put a stop to Evil's cheatage too.

Sixth in Tuesday's Wally's Night Out would give me 5 points on the 'April Table'       ......        and equal Drainy's total for the year.

Chomps, when Fantasy League II begins would it not be a good idea to stipulate that anyone submitting a team has to include themselves (unless they live over a hundred miles away    ....     or in Snore Bens)?

Otherwise all you're gonna get is perms (   ....     utations - not Ding's bonce, Drainy) of a certain Sar Frafrickan plus four of the top eight cashers.

I take exception to that - my hair is not permed!!!! Naturally curly because as a child I ate my crusts.

Will fantasy 2 be expanding the feild of players and the size of the teams?

e.g Andrew Lyew etc etc

There will be a revised list of 50, knocking out the likes of Tiddly Diddly and Sir Donksalot, and including the Matrix Twins, Andy Liew, Paul thingy. Gumbo.
So we're agreed then. Don't have to pick yourself in your team? This was blatant MAS team tactics anyway obv.
I may also not be available for pickage. Considering retirement again after tonight's shambles. Any tourney reportage could be dealt with by insta-disqualification...

NEWS NEWS NEWS
Drainy Junior just sent me a text; he's on the bubble @ Stanleys (5 left paying to 4).

Go go go Danno.......

EDIT: Little Drainy is in the cash.
Shirley this can't be 4 wins out of 8 tourneys........?

Drainy junior took down Stanleys Thursday nighter for the 2nd wk running, making it 3 tourney wins in a week!
He's played 8 live tourneys since turning 18, and won 4 of 'em!
That's nearly 50%
60/8=7.5 virtual league points imo

Well played Hoopy, both with the third and the one-word rub..."Scrabble...?" as I made my exit after becoming the 18th player on the night to lose a race v Pizzled (pair on the flop, nut flush on the river). Nine points and £500 to go towards the tattoo/t-shirt fund.
Also, another 5pts for The Nooninator, who's back on a mini-heater at the mo.
Would love to know what became of the monster stacks of Bingo Bill, Bingo Doner and Bongo Ruppinator? Some proper players and some proper poker last night, esp on table 3*, aka the feature table.

* Seat 6 not included

Hi all , as I need to get my games played count up by a few , I was thinking of the Saturday afternoon £40 game - wassitlikeguv ? does it get a good number of runners ? is it selfdeal :-( how long does it run for ? any replies welcome, I probably will end up coming along maybe taking in the Manchester Derby first as well :-)

Sat afternoon is a good comp, anywhere from 35-60 runners is the norm

Its dealer dealt, and dependant on runners obv, its wrapped up by midnight.8k chips 2 x 45 min levels then 30 all the way

If you busto early the 8pm evening game is a nice soft game, also dealer dealt, its a £30-£10-£10 format
30-50 runners

Plus plenty of cash action if thats your thing

This sort of thing would make even Avi blush with embarrassment...

Have a look at a proper poker player in action to get things back on track imo
