Decided on a prolonged strategy of sweeteners, starting with a day out at lovely Southend-on-Sea

Picked her up from lunch with her sister(my treat),we then set off on the M25

Ignoring the fact i took the M25 fork right instead of left, after an hour detour we faced the car the right way and then sat in traffic for a further 3 hours before heading into Romford for a pie and mash supper

This all went well until bumping into an old flame, who grabbed my backside from behind, winked, then asked ,"how the fack are ya numbnuts"

Brushing this encounter aside with the skill of Messi going past 3 defenders,we arrived in glorious Southend at 7pm

An hours hand in hand stroll along the beach was a great touch, followed by tea overlooking the sea to really get in the good books(note the no Fosters in a pub drink for me)

On to the arcades to do the 2penny shove things she loves so much for an hour or 2,i won her a meerkat teddy and an "i love you" pillow,i heard myself whistling Kenny Rogers "Gambler" song, this is going perfectly

"£20 in the big slots?",she asked
"Yeah go on then, but no more.Quality time today love,£20 it is then"

Bink......£500 crisp ones from 2 £1 spins

£100 and shopping with your sister tomorrow princess,i`ll do the garden,no worries

See you all at Omaha next Friday Ladies and Gentlemen, this is how i roll

I thank you.

Boer Wars is absolutely blessed. Most of G Luton including dealers decamped to Stanleys for the £30 jobbie. A very good night had by all

Muggins finalled but of course stood no chance once he found some cards having not seen a pair for six hours lol. Meanwhile Mr Miller is hitting flops for fun and the random donk locals are throwing chips at him with 4th pair as if he is a registered charity collecting chips for onward transit to Rwanda by door to door delivery.

Incredible scenes, the highlights of which were Mr Miller knocking out the main donk on the final bubble

On a board of 3-7-5-4-2 the opponent check calls all in blind on blind on the river for the lot, which needed a sack to transport across to the final, with 2-3 (having bet two streets), and then staring at the board for two minutes wondering how 8-6 has beaten him and having to have the ever eloquent and not at all combative Mr Miller explain it to him.

Other finalists included MDD, Andy Lyew, Nene "Four tons of hairspray" Baker and those Lebanese guys that normally splash around for a few levels at the G.

Anyway well done Mr Miller on what I assume was victory.

I didn't go out last night.
.....Stayed in and updated the EFFIN league table instead.
It sure was fun, and much better than going out, imo.

[  ]  And yes, Boer Woers won @ Stanleys.

Demon drink to blame, however that is all part of Ians image which fools a lot of people.

[  ] He has an image.

Drinking at the poker table shouldnt be allowed tbh.
Some drunk geezer woz raising the great Willie Tan's BB almost every round last night.
Uber ridic imo

ian's ok. Nice geezer. Harmless enuff, but he does go a bit OTT sometimes (due to said demon)

hic

Funniest/saddest thing is willie tann playing the fifty quid donkeython

No no no.
the funniest thing woz when he called my umpteenth raise and checked to my flopped set.
I CB'd the 2 spade T high flop (he calls) and the beautiful came on the turn.
He checks again.
I bet a chunk and he shoved.
I install call and he has Ax(s) spades nut flush.
Sweeeeeeeeeeeet

Had to check 3 times and wipe me eyes to be sure the above post was made by you, Drainy.  Didn't think you actually won hands in poker.  WD
