Congrats Adrian and Brijesh.

As for the call he made - in his spot, with his chips and only having committed 21K to the pot ... plus two peeps now all - in, one of which is 2nd CL, I prob would have folded.

If I had less of a stack I would have shoved and prayed for the board that did come ;-)

Agreed, HoldorAnalyseaboutaFold

Overplaying AK...who'd have thought it...

Instacall for me, all out ftw imo.

Simon G and others - got $8k for sale if anyone wants some mad US ones? Don't expect favourable rates, though, these are Lalit's $$$ and most of them are covered in Yoda's saliva.

Where did you stay Chris? bumped into Johnny Vacuumcleaner, Julian Lefevre and his mate Pete, JCNev, but never saw you at the Venetian.

WTF? British Gas, Tony De Luca and George Michael in the final 11? Standard worse than the Cheesers Palace late-night turbo imo.

I have spoken with Pep and as he isnt a member here he has asked me to clarify his thought process and some of the maths, not that he needs to justify anything imo.

The blinds were 3k - 6k and Pep opened to 21k, then the shove came for 93k total.

Rockstar then shoved in for 126k total.

So with about 250k in the pot Pep needs to call 105k more to scoop a pot for nearly 1/2 the chips in play. If he calls and loses he still had 125k remaining so 20 bbs for the final table.

So with getting 2.5 to 1 on making the call and having the chance to knock out 2 players giving him  over 1/2 the chips in play he decided the call is the right play. Believing neither player had AA or KK, he has to call

Please pass on to Pep there are no hard feelings whatsoever about my exit

I remained behind to shake his hand on victory, to hopefully show a bit of class

Posting daily on here, its sometimes easy to forget how the grapevine will reach all quarters, and that certain people will not have the right of reply

The math of my exiting hand may not have been 100% exact, nor Peps reasoning suitably explained

I reserve the right to have certain poetic licence on any postings in the future, consider this a legal disclaimer

When you speak to Pep,remind him i never got that pint of Fosters

17 left in the £250.Myself,Boer Wars,Celtic,Jim McBride,Michael Bolton, resume tomorrow at 2pm tomorrow for the title

Another great show from the Locals
