No league scorage tonight thanks to only 22 showing up.
I sure didn't re-plop Rockstar with KK and find laughing MAS dude shoving JJ on my ass. And he sure didn't hit quads.
Anyway, scrabble resultage...
Me 452-196 Ding
Me 314-198 Ding
Me 420-213 Ding

Chompy, sadly I will be unable to include the scores from last evening. Such blatant padding of one's average is being referred to Sweaty Terrence's trusty assistant Flabby Frank who will decide on measures to outlaw such moves
Lets face it, playing Dingdell at Scrabble is like Kevin Pietersen leaving the England team saying he wants to play for Buckinghamshire in the Minor Counties in pursuit of a batting average higher than Bradman
Shameless behaviour.

Wiiiiiiiiii, thanks for all the messages of grats.
You can only beat what's in front of you. I prepared my a-game last night in readiness for a showdown with Clawbird but Ding was the only scrabble leaguer in attendance, although MDD showed a definite interest in proceedings and threw down the future gauntlet. Only if he can bring in his £35 OED though.
Words of the night: plovers, dickier, bireme, matador
Also, honestly leads me to tell our beloved elder that I'm seven from seven, not eight from eight.
GL today Chuck

Sigh, can't beat the run-good boys. Just glad it wasn't you that took me out Loooofah, rather the guy that fist-pumped Pizzled after busting his QQ with AQ diamonds, who then wanted to shake my hand. Grrrrr.

Is that THE Qereshi? Where's he playing now anyone? Unless there are two of them his correct score should be 75 innit?

In my defence he was ridic lucky, with several 7 letter words just appearing in front of him, lots of blanks and 's' while I had mainly to contend with lots of q, x and z's and my brain. All rather unfair if you ask me.
Just when the tide is turning and I am getting into the groove he feigns tiredness and has to go, leaving me to rather sucessfully wind up Boer Wars by phone so much he is ringing the card room from the M6 in sheer panic. Class. ;-)
