Myland's bink takes jonnyplum back to third in the fantasy week with less than a week to go

I had a very tiring day yesterday. Decided to go to Luton G for the afternoon game and left in plenty of time to get there. I only got as far as Finchley and and then got stuck in a trafficjam (lol) for over an hour. The heat in my car recorded 98 degrees and that was with my air conditioning on!  The traffic report said there was a 2 mile tailback due to roadworks on the A1.

I decided to turn off and go back to the Great North Road and use the sat nav (maybe a wrong decision as it may have taken only a little longer to get past the roadworks).  However, thank god for sat navs, it decided to take me on a nice scenic route through St Albans and Harpenden. I eventually arrived at the G about 2 hours late so no game for me there!

Michelle and Gavin were going on to the Circus for the evening game and I said I would like to try that but as I had never been there before I said to Michelle, perhaps I could leave my car at the G and she could take me back to the G after the game.  Again a wrong decision, as I didn't take into account that one of us may make the final table. Of course, I got knocked out early but spent my time(only watching)  learning the rudiments of 3 card poker, blackjack and Roulette,which I had a small dabble and learnt you must leave when on a winning streak!

I was pleased to see Michelle had made the final table and finished heads up with a well known poker player Mr WT!  Well done Michelle I was very proud of you!

By this time it was nearing 4 am (I think) and of course Michelle had to drive me back to the G (whereas if I had taken my car she informs me that the M1 was just up the road).  I managed to drive home safely, this time taking the M1 all the way home instead of turning off onto the M25 and ending up at Heathrow, like the last time I went to the G.

I arrived home with the dawn and birds twittering and my husband hearing me drive up, coming out to check I had parked the car properly (well that is his job)!  All in all quite and interesting 15 hour day for an old lady!

It was suggested to split the pot when it was down to three players but Mr WT didn't want to, when it got to heads up WT was chip leader and Michelle fortunately won a huge pot off him which then made her chip leader. They were told they could only play 5 more games because of the time, when it got to 3 games to go, WT then suggested they split the pot.
