I'll be donating tonight - but late as usual - sure am looking forward to a roasting by the scrabble king....
As a scrabble player, I assume you know the definition of "roasting."
this is ding we're talking about - she probably invented it
FML - that was seriously out of context people! And anyway - wouldn't there have to be 2 Chompys - so to speak?

LOLZ, bring your scrabble set with if you have one Tighty, it's gonna be a scrabble hotbed tonight. Four leaguers min present, plus MDD wants a go too. As long as we use his OED. Which he paid £35 for.

Just caught up with thread. WD to all who have cashed in last week and
HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY to Little Red xx
Just caught up,and nice result Chelle
Thought you`d win, as you clearly have a lot of
experience of dealing with Willies
at close quarters
The MAS out in force tonight, to put Plumsy`s dreams of Fantasy binkage to bed
I dunno about dealing with a lot of Willies .... I've certainly had to deal with a couple of dickheads on the other hand

well done thomas for sat result, looks like that binkage may have secured 3rd spot in the fantasy, to celebrate this ive edited my original team and entered a surprise 2nd rubdown team over on the fantasy 2 thread - get those lists in!
When Mr Prew realises that Alan (un)Lucky McBink is actually in The Rock Steady Crew - he might choose to add a further 7 pts (4pts & 3pts for 50+ runners) to my total, for his 7th place on Friday night, just gone.
I wasn't planning on playing this week until Friday - but if points are at stake I could be open to offers. Would you like to buy me in Luther?
With 4 final tables in my last 5 events at The G (finishing mainly just out of the points and money in 6th, 10th, 7th & 9th), I'm in reasonable form but due a decent result.
7 for me so far in June Tighty. May or may not be any more this month. Will let you know if it changes.

News just in from Glennda - he's made day two of one of the venetian deepstacks - 43 return from 699 (tonight, our time, I presume), he's just below average chips.

Last night was one of those nights where playing at Luton is special
38 runners in the 30+20+10 and a veritable horde of leaguers present. Many concentrating on the "game within the game" of fantasy league points and rubdowns and, for Dingdell only, rub-ups.
Cutting to the chase, as the weary warriors emerged blinking into the cool dawn at 5am, with the birdsong cascading through the Luton landscape we had Chompy finishing runner up to Michael Bolton ahead of Boerwar in 3rd, myself in 4th, saver points for G-Man in 6th, and non points scoring finals for Rockstar and jonnyplum. That final was like a who's-who of this thread. With almost as many words too.
The result of all this was Chompy's 12 points taking our Venetian flip flopped follower of febrile fashion Mr Nirvana Henderson into a TIE for the £200 third place in the fantasy league with jonnyplum with two nights to go
Their respective teams are
‘Jonny’s Plums’ (D.Johnson)
Dave Johnson
Tom Myland
Dean Morris
George Michael
Ian Bradley
'A Glass Half Full' (G.Henderson)
Glenn Henderson
Adrian Gotch
Graham Wheldon
Gavin Kan
Tony Kendall
The actual result was a five way chop and to be fair to Chompy, looking ever more like Hannibal Lecter without the mask and with social skills to match, he did his best to engineer the win for Henderson but was comprehensively outplayed Heads Up. Unsurprisingly really as he had spent the previous four hours perfecting his one move, the all in shove from anywhere with anything with the portentous words of MDD no doubt ringing inside his shaved cranium. "Most of the time they can't call" and indeed most of the time they didn't, until they did, when he binked.
As I said at the start, great banter last night. I might be tempted to turn up more. Great value at £1m in FL2 if I do. Get those teams in! 17 so far
Also get your June totals in!
Finally an apology, to Dingdell. I am sorry if the banter went too far last night. I promosie it won't happen again until next time.
My three favourite Ding-isms of last night
1. "Can I have that Chicken salad thing please?
Valet "What chicken thing?
"The Salmon fillet please"
2. "Tighty, who came up with the idea that Ice can cool things?"
3. "Ooh, what was the name of that film,
Flight of the somethings
, you know the one where the little things fly and look like they are wearing dinner suits?"
Edna, Claw and myself try to get into the mindset....we bluff dwell
"Got it" cries Dingdell "Penguins!"
Good times.

Scriptwriters slave for years to come up with that sort of quality. Congrats to many winners and birfday celebrators
