I note a pick up in HoldorFinal's form has coincided with a downturn in GavinorNotFinal's form

Dramatic scenes at the G

80 runners for the £50 deepstack crapshoot. 6 starting tables of 10 began as that's how many dealers they had, with 20 late alternates kept twiddling their digits for half an hour before a mangement decision was made to open a further two tables. So it can be done!

and in stunning news Ian Xpressman came through to win for 15+6bonus=21 points ahead of British Gas in second and other finalists Lalit 40 year soft play and Jim McBride

So that means that luther steals third place in the fantasy league on the last night and G-Man steals overall victory from Rockstar. Well done all three though

I believe Xpressman was only playing to try and help Luther out.

So, I am off to catch my breath and wait for the inevitable Luther brag post. Sigh.

Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep      .......

What's that sound?

It's the sound of the Plums/Nirvana open top bus reversing back into it's garage       ......           apparently the Victory Parade round, and round, the G carpark has been cancelled!

Well done to Sir Ian Needleman (and all other members of the team    .....      except USADennis, of course) for their efforts over the last six months in making Dave Johnson's life an utter misery.

Good/deserved result for Xpressman who kept the faith in his game, after countless outdraws/bad beats of late.

It just goes to show you can be a nice guy as well as a good poker player.

So Fantasy League 1 went to the final comp on the last day    ....        well it was fun    .....     produced some great banter    .....   let's hope League 2's as good.
