A brief funny moment after tonight’s "win"
I rang home to tell my wife (Elena) about it, and mention that I have over £10,000 in cash in my pocket. She's worried about me coming home alone with that amount of cash. To be frank I'm a bit dazed and don’t fancy driving back. I also fancy a drink to settle my nerves. We agree her son should drive her to meet me and she can drive my car home, so I can have a glass or two of wine to celebrate.
"But I don’t fancy driving your car" says Elena. " Don’t worry, it’s an easy journey, A40 most of the way" I say, and she agrees to come.
40 minutes later my phone rings. Elena says, "We're at junction 10, where do we go from here?"
"What do you mean, junction 10, where are you?"
"On the M1"
"Why"
"Aren’t you at Luton?"
"No, The Vic, I told you"
"Oh ****"
So, time for yet another glass of wine!

LOL. When I heard Nirvana was winning 3-0 I thought he'd opened with a word like R A T and forgotten to double it.
Say I am top the league, say I am top the league, hoo hah.
WP TV's Tony Kendall, Bernard and Evil last night. A good night for the veterans.

You may mock, but it's no use bum-hunting to the extent of 125 point wins and scaring off the easy points. Lull them in with modest defeats and a sense of hope, and milk the wins innit
After all, its' been so long since Nirvana won anything that his competitive psyche must be extrely fragile
But seriously, he played a good game. More knowledge of scrabble gamecraft and two letter words and he'd beat volume bum hunters like I don't know who for fun.

Yeah, chopped it. The reference to Nirvana looking like Angelos from Shooting Stars in the jacket he's just acquired from KMart, Las Vegas branch, was posted minutes after Jeeves used the same thing. Originality ftw.
Otherwise, where is everyone on this thread these days? It's gone quieter than MDD on a quiet night.
Thinking of the likes of Pizzled, Rockstar, Tikay, Pelham, Snatty, Drainy, etc etc.
Just get the birds coming on once a week to grat Clairebear on finishing third the night before.
Come on leagueites, it's all gonna fizzle out otherwise.
