Any chance u can make your updates a bit shorter plz.
I log on here for a quick update for poker @ the g, and I don't always have time to read thru all of the extra detail that u often include.
(some of which may well be funny but that's not the purpose of this thread - perhaps you should start your own comedy blog - in the comedy section - not the poker section. In the comedy section I hear they like to have fun and a larf and jokes and stuff. But let's be honest this thread isn't about that - it's about poker at the g)

Mogadon Monday is about to be replaced by Trundleathon Thursday as of next month. It's becoming a 2x5000 double chance thing, which will suit the volcanic debris from around the St Albans and Heathrow areas.
Can't see the new Monday doing much imo, £10 rebuy with £1k guaranteed. Still think they should replicate Wednesday on Mondays. It's what the kidz want.
No time for scrabz, which was unf as there were bums aplenty.
I'm running that bad, though, I'd have probably reached into the little green bag and pulled out...four dominos, a rotten apple, MDD's guide to how to win foreign friends and influence dealers and Malcolm's rug.

My simple maths told me 30 runners gets £300 in the pot, and at 4 rebuys each (conservative, as it will be bingo-tastic) generating £1200, for £1500 total its not really much of a guarantee at all


On quizzing the card-room supervisor who is not Kalam and therefore can a) give a straight answer and b) has no chance of succeeding Niall if Niall does go, as to the stinginess of the guarantee was told that

"this is a first step, we wanted to get a guarantee onto the schedule, and this seemed a nice gentle one to start with. If we keep hitting it we can increase it"

In other words, a complete waste of time.
