Fantastic !!!...You two were obv a squabbling hub and wife in a previous life...

nah - three's a crowd imo, and Chimpy wont know where to look when me and Kirky are happily chatting over a bottle of Cava Krug Grande Cuvee.
Best I leave 'em to it. I am gonna stick to the £5'er re-buy on Sunday. More romantic imo.

A bunch of are dees dominated last night, which means we've had no points scorers since Sunday. Just felt we were due another glimpse of the table, so here it is going into Wankers' Wednesday.

So, what's the story on Greg then?
Is the Malteser coming back to play [10] more?
Or is the Jetsam actually leading the league table?

Played the £100 rebuy at The Vic last night, and cashed thanks to this corker of a hand.

9 handed on the final table (with 6 paid), I was one of the 3 shortest stacks with 25,700 at 1,000 / 2,000 blinds.
Folded to the active cut off, he raised to 7,000. I was in the small blind with   and decided this was likely to be above his range and as I needed to gamble, this would be a good spot to shove. He thought for a while and made the call with pocket sevens. I was happy to be in reasonable shape.

First card out was an eight, immediately followed by a seven and a three -  so hopes raised then immediately dashed.

The turn was an eight - the pleasure at seeing the eight was quickly diminished with the realisation he'd housed up ..........

........until a beautiful three appeared on the river!

Lol Alan. The fact you didn't hit quads on the river is the most  surprising thing there. Otherwise standard mcbink hand.

Other than tighty who is going tonight?

Nice one Mr McBink. Were you coached by Chompy, by any chance?

Not me, we have our own version of Wankers Wednesday elsewhere tonight......what else could an evening with not one, but TWO tikay Tourneys be called?

I've actually tried to organise my Diary a little better, so I now know what dates I'll next be at Luton. (Sept 16th, 19th, 23rd, 26th, so two Thursdays & two Sundays).

My problem is that it's always such a late night for me, because I always final.....
