You is gonna have to get busy to hit 30 Snat. You need 15 more in three months! As Billy Ocean once crooned 'Get offer the tube, get into the G'
Have put you in for nine Celtic, including Thu.
Not going to get there imo..... As Lyle Lovett wrote
The whistle blows at the break of dawn
Still that evening, the work goes on
Sixteen hours of every day
And baby, if I could, you know I'd walk away
Snatty adds......but I can't walk away right now

Dear Mr League Elder & Scrabble Bad Loser,
I attended the G for the Monday night stupid thing one week, with Orford & LML, & we all eventually withdrew before it started, as it only had 2 Tables, so we played a "private" SNG.
Does that count towards my September total?
<25 runners, so no
Ooooh - good question - take one off my total please. Tnx.

I think the regular Chompy instruction "tell us how many you have played this month" deserves it's own thread. We could call it "Comedy Gold". Or "Best of bullshit".
It's like a Chomps Scrabble score. Pure fiction.

Embarrassing good fortune?
I was rather proud of my Hero Call to be honest, if you refer to the incident with J-9.
I almost shoved pre - I'd done it 4 times already on my opening Table. 6, 7, & 8 limpers at 150-300 on my BB? Lol, what do they expect?!
Prior to the incident & Hero-Call with J-9, the 3 biggests pots I'd won all night were with shoves with complete air into 6 or 7 limpers. There were EIGHT on one occasion, the Pot was 2,400!

IIRC, you were amongst the serial-limpers the first few times! Surely you could tell I was not going to allow that?
The J-9 thing was com.
Min Raise at 200-400 (from you?), 5 callers, I call the 400 in the SB & I flopped the str8. Everyone checks.
Turn, K, now some geezer wants to shove all-in - AND gets an all-in caller - Gershun - before it even gets to me!
They were both drawing dead, lol.
Very pleased with my pre-flop hero call for 400, as well as the all-in call.

Just about everything in your recollection is incorrect... blinds were 200-400 utg jay patel 1600 ,i make a horrible call with 4 4 out of an 11 bb stack and pick up another two limpers..u make up with the j 9 and flop it. tbh u did nothing wrong the two limpers played it horrifically shoving and calling with marginals

Calling an early 4x rise with 44 for nearly 40% of your stack can only be a good thing long term. You might flop a set or quads.
Also, just pwned Nirvana at Facebook scrabble. Might have to start inc these results in the league.
Chompy wonders whether Avi Darvish has soft feet.

Sunday 5th
Sunday 19th
Wednesday 22nd
Sunday 26th
Wednesday 29th (provisionally, if I can bunk off work).
I MAY have played Wednesday 15th, but I'm not sure. Any way of checking? I would have cashed if I'd played, obv.
tit tuesday 21st too
Owned!
That's why I listed my Dates - my Online Diary has crashed, so I'm not sure what Dates I played. I do seem to recall Tit Tuesday now, but I'm wondering if I mixed that up with the Wednesday - Wednesday 22nd?
Prob best to make it 6. Any advance on 6?
I'll make it 7 i rember u being there the same thursday as greg
