I feel a storm coming.. the clans are forming... one of the last great clashes of the season beckons tonight... the might of the league look like they are due to do battle at the felt... god save their souls....

In some ways, you are whats wrong with this country.

Results didn't come through til 7am, so I am assuming it was a very late one for our departing league Scion and his point scoring pals last night

1   Alan Mcbride   "Seville Orange jumper, straight out of C and A"  £1,330

7   Graham Wheldon     "The Fen King is dead"   £180

8   Claire Macgregor   "Mrs Pykefect"   £150

9    Vincent Calenti     "Has learnt how to fold a hand"  £130

Cliffs for last night :

Bumper Field

I doubled through Avi earlier

[ ] i played well

[ ] standard of play was amazing

[ ] i make great hero calls

[ ] i will be returning this year

Highlights of night ...

Watching Chompy getting pwned by a £5 rebuy monkey

Celtics scarf that looked like he knitted it

Hearing the wails of derision from Celtics table as he bust someone else with 2 4 sooooted

Snattys Pokerstar baseball cap turned backwards in true young gun styleeee.. i find it worrying that it suited him

Sitting between noonan and tom....

Getting confused by Noonan so much I didn't even know my own name anymore, although i managed to lay down an overpair on the river (mainly cos i was confused and just wanted my life to end )

Happy Christmas everyone

Last night was probably the best ever, even though i had my AA cracked by K7 to go out in 9th place. I wish every night was like that luton.

Yeah Sicilain ... it was a good table ...was sorry to get moved ...straight after I got rookied and lost half of my stack , then moved again within 10 mins , and got seated next to that mad oriental bloke that normally donates squillions on cash ....except he has about 70 k in chips

so I raised with  three diamonds and on a flop of      I shoved .....(a blonde moment for sure  )  and got called by the BB,  an internet shrewdie who defended his blind with

so the walk of shame began .......great tourney though and some smashing play

Well done Alan ...nice Jumper indeed Smiley

UL Celtic (5pts), whose AA got cracked by K7, and Clawbird (6pts), who ran QQ into KK six hours into the final table. Some incred grindy work here (7pts).
Higher up the order, Hollywood's Chris Cooper finished third ahead of even more Hollywood's Mrs Phan in fourth. Very nory girl's behaviour at the final table was just marv, hot the the heels of an amazing slowroll v David La Ronde.
Ultimately, it was Lucky McBink who shone like a beacon both on and off the table, TIDMOF for 18pts.

I'm afraid it's confirmed, Drainy will be finishing bottom of the 2010 league unless he manages binkage between now and the end of the year.
