Top scarfery and fluffy jumpery last night, as the blue fluffster TIDMOF from Foxy in his beret.
In fact, thinking about it, there were berets, manbags and scarves everywhere. Me and Luther are in need of a New Year makeover I think.
So, I built a stack and then lost a flip with JJ v 10J to leave British Gas (18pts), Vinny Sportswear (10pts) and TV's Six Scarves (9pts) to scrap it out.

Don't think I have ever seen anything like last night

My starting table has the famed WPIS in Seat 1, Randoms in 2-4, me in 5, Darvish in 6 and randoms 7-8

8,500 and 30 mins starting and we lose three players in the first orbit


I just have to tell you a few hands

Third hand of the comp. UTG makes it 350 at 25-50. Six callers. I pass the bb lol

flop 5-2-2. Small blind leads, WPIS calls, button raises. Small blind ships. WPIS calls all in. Button passes

SB 7-2. WPIS 4-3!!! turn A and WPIS knocks the small blind out


Second level

Six limpers (standard) and the small blind pumps it up to 2,000. All call!

flop A-K-6. Sb leads for 4,000 with 6,000 back. Avi calls

turn 8 SB ships and Avi insta calls

sb flips 4-4 and says "good call"

Avi flips Q-J and says "If you have an Ace you have me. Oh, I thought I had a King"

river 10 to send another player home


Meanwhile I can't do a lot so sit out and cringe/gasp and chuckle for two hours

Eventually, once Claw has been and gone from the table, Avi doubles me up when I flop the lot with filth in the big blind. He then proceeds to double various others up and his 70,000 stack in level 3 falls to 20,000

Finally I find something with my 18,000 stack, raise AKs, Avi 3 bets, I shove for want of something better to do given he could have anything and Avi insta calls off with 7-7. As I depart (I'm never 50-50 against Avi) I get him clapping wildly to himself and jabbing animatedly at the dealer

Fantastically entertaining night really. Posters on this thread aside, who are most of the 30 or so regs with games we all rate/respect, there appears to me to have been a fantastic influx of value into the room since I last played regularly. Jaw droppingly eye openingly bad. These guys want to be in every pot, have to see a lot of flops and stack off very lightly.

Talking of which. Avi didn't cash, neither did WPIS. Well done to Gavin and lutonrover for TID MOF. Takes a special skill to avoid those land mines....

Just my exit hand from DTD last night - short stacked - push with  - called by  and  - fair enough. Flop comes    happy days, followed by  giving a house to the victor. Live poker is rigged I tell you!

Probably back to Luton tonight then, I blame myself for leaving and trying to play somewhere else.... ;-)

we are 3 handed, Gavin  has a mountain of chips , myself and  matey have similar , and I suggest we let Gavin win ,  split 2nd and 3rd , its getting so late the owls have gone to sleep ....but there's a guy sitting at the table connected to matey who shouts at me and him and is allowed to interfere , in any event I knocked him out and eventually Gavin and the writer chopped
 

Why was the guy allowed to sit with us ,  why was he allowed to interfere ? and shout everyone down , including Gavin who was trying to be helpful

did u mention it to the td ask why people someone was allowed to sit around the table? this usually isnt allowed but sometimes depends who you are
