Break now, & snoops will get the Chip Counts.
Denis has 80k, a great comeback by the unlucky Irish Gent.
Here's, err, Dina again. But she is lovely, eh? I have a sneaking suspicion she has a thing about me. But I can take her or leave her.
OK, snoops has the Chip Counts, here they come.

tikay again.
How about THIS for a gentlemanly act by Denis O'Mahoney.
At the last 2 Luton Fessies, he & I have swapped 10%. On the last occasion, I gave him £50, he gave me £1,000.
I picked up £3,800 on Monday, but Denis & I had not discussed any %'s for this week, so I thought no more about it, despite the fact he sent me a "thank you for the % text",which I assumed was tougue-in-cheek.
He's just - 5 mins ago - told me our deal for swapping 10% this week IS still on. Whether or not he gets more than £3,800 (& will thus owe me) is irrelative. That's a true Gent, a genuine Top Bloke. I hope, for lots of reasons..... he gets a big payday.
For all the low-lifes in Poker, there are plenty of great guys too, & I've been lucky to befriend so many of them. Even the high-flying Thewy, a World-Ranking player these days in my opinion, still insists that he & I have a saver. Poker Peeps ain't as bad as they are sometimes made out to be.

Forgetting that Fox was still involved, Irish Dennis quickly announces call.
Anyone else think this was really bad?
Foxy must be pissed about him doing this, it must have be a huge part in laying down the QQ, and i'm sure this was the intent behind it.....

tikay again.
Charmaine - that's WONDERFUL news! A friend of mine's young lad was a month or two "late" in walking, & whilst he pretended not to be concerned, he was. But then the Lad was walking, & then running all over the place. Happy Days, as Paul Parker would say.
This - I think - is G Butler. I sat with him for most of the comp. Does not say a lot, but pleasant demeanour, very studied, always ready to smile, & clearly thoroughly enjoying himself. I love to see guys like this make big Finals.

Jeff Buffenbarger is the
8th
place finisher winning
£2,000
Battle of the blinds with Stuart Fox.
Fox held Ah
Buffenbarger had As
No help came on the board and there was no sign of a split pot.
Buffenbarger is OUT.

Tikay, I would just like to second the 'Dennis is a gent' campaigne. There are a few scoundrels in poker but he is a true gentleman of the game.
Glad to see that Pascal is looking after those chips that were nearly mine. Good luck to him I say - he's a decent fella (even said so on my blog which was soon after elimination).
Is Steve Lennon still in - I am rooting for him! Another lovely fella - one of the best in fact.
Cheers,

tikay here. Sorry I keep mentioning that, but we only have one Lappie today, & we cannot open the Forum in two different "log-in" names simultaneously.
No, I don't believe even for a second there was any mal-intent behind Denis inadvetently acting out of turn. Anyone who knows Denis would know that, & by a bizarre coincidence, I just posted a typical "Gentleman Denis" story. There's many that would, but Denis is not one of them. I watched the hand "live", & I'm 100% certain it was a genuine mistake.

Surely thes would have been an advantage for foxy, more in the pot and Denis can make no further action
Or am I wrong (again)
Ps, make room for me on the "Denis is a nice guy" bandwaggon
Pps It's Denis with one n isn't it?

B Litman is the
7th
place finisher winning
£2,400
He won't like me reporting this one. I think he must have been possessed by tikay and his wonderful misreads.
Anyway, Litman moves all-in from the button.
Wernick calls from the big blind and confidently flips over
.
Litman, rather less confidently, turns over
.
eeeeeeeeeeeeeek
Slight spot of bother.
Board isn't any help -
... and Litman is off for his dreaded interview with Rhow. Don't think he has a bad beat story to tell tho.
