You could be in danger of letting poker consume your relationship - at least at first anyway.  Personally, I love it that me and my fella have mostly separate activities/jobs/hobbies.  And that I wouldn't dream of boring him with poker crap, like he wouldn't dream of doing the same with golf shite......

My gf started playing poker at the same time as me in '03 and she has become an excellent player. I can play poker/talk poker anytime I like no hassle which is good. Two Fridays ago she chopped the same tournament and brought home 1k and gave me half after I busted early. In fact these days I bust early and yet still turn a profit a lot of the time. Yes, I like that my gf plays poker.

She's won enough to get a new car and pay for a weeks holiday in August for us this year.

I play super tight and try to get to final table, but she can read players,and knows when to call and raise
