Yeah, I much prefer RATM.

+1 The Miley Cirus
version
is beautiful but I much prefer RATM to the Joe song

Look at this photo Tighty took at DTD yesterday - try denying it now 'Evilpie'.
I think it's a bit of a concern that there's 7 blokes there looking at Cos playing poker rather than staring straight at the hot little massage bird behind him.
Please tell me there's a pervert behind the Cowell pic.......

I also want to know why the clown is wearing huge dangly earrings with photos of chefs on them.

I couldn't care less about Simon Cowell.
I bought it cos I thought it would be comedy to see all the outcry, and because I thought it'd be epic to get RATM a christmas #1.
This ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I like Simon Cowell and if he did start it Id like him even more, but I honestly think your wrong.
The point is that RATM is an amazing track that and having it as Xmas number is just pure jokes and no one thought it would actually get there.
Youve missed the point for most of us, in the words of one of Evilpies esteemed ex-employees its all about 'Catching Joke' nothing more
This, This and only This
I couldn't care about if Simon made money or not, or weather joe gets a career or not, it wasn't about simon, Joe, xfactor for me.
It was always about RATM for me, ill be honest, if it was a different song that i hated, id have wanted Joe and Simon to have won it, but cos it was RATM it was all about them.

What a bunch of idiots the British public are.
This has clearly been set up by the genius that is Simon Cowell
in order to boost the sales of 2 songs that he pwns large %'s of the rights to.
F you I won't do what you tell me.........
Unless you somehow manage to tell me really subtley so I don't notice and think I'm actually being smarter than you for once in my worthless sad life Mr Cowell sir.........
yeah cos simon set up the face book campaign, don't talk piss, he was desperate for Joe to win. He is his latest hot talent, and needs to try spin a star out of him, Joe not winning that No. 1 is a huge blow to joe and simon.
Simon craves stature more than money these days
Great piece of drivel there mate.
How the hell is a 5th or 6th or whatever x-factor number one going to change Cowell's stature one bit? He's achieved everything there is to achieve in the music industry and I would guess he does this purely because he enjoys it.
If it was stature and recognition he was after he would be off ballooning with Branson.
Its continued control though isnt it, thats what he enjoys, i discovered this, i discovered that, they would be nothing without me.
This is the part of the argument I don't understand tho Stuart.
The song chosen is all about not conforming but all the people that have backed the campaign have done exactly what they were told to do and bought it, you see the irony there?.
I am happy for the RATM fans like Dave who get a number one from knowhere but I just can't see this song as making the point it was intended to make. If it had been that alltime classic'There no one quite like grandma' or some other ridic Chrstmas record of yesteryear then it would have been funny and proven the point much better than a record that actually contradicted the message.
Or maybe I am just missing the point.

People haven't conformed by supporting the RATG campaign. It was an option provided largely as an anti protest against Simon Cowell and Xfactor. People had the free will to support the campaign or not. Alternatively they could do nothing, as many did.

hi mate,
The X factor record is an option provided to beat all the other acts tho isnt it and people have the free will to buy that too. I think it is a really impressive performance to win the Christmas number one the way this one has been won and I do like that, It's just the record it has been done with kinda devalues the acheivement a little as it is contradictory in my eyes.
