Paradox vs FlashForward

Both shows have the idea of seeing the future and trying to avoid it happening

In Paradox ( BBC ) detectives are sent crime scene pictures of a murder or disaster 18 hours before it happens, from a new satellite in space

In Flash Forward ( NBC and CH 5 ) detectives have seen 2 minutes of the future in 6 months time , from a particle accelerator accident

In Paradox there is a complete story with an ending to every episode, But Flashforward just drip feeds 10 minutes of new story every episode.

Which do you prefer

Not seen Paradox, but have seen all of FlashForward so far and think its really good and like the idea and makes you want to keep on watching.

Someone said it was the new Lost but i don't think it can be compared to this yet.

I didnt get into Lost till about 2 years after it came out and chain watched all the seasons and it was incred, wish i coulda done same with FF. But that would mean waiting a few years and that wasn't going to happen.

I didn't start watching lost till Halfway through season 5! 5 seasons back to back blew my mind! Then to top it off i had 45 pages on the Lost Thread to read through too.

thought FF was slow moving and boring and stopped watching after 4 eps. more happens in 1 ep of say 24 than in those 4 eps combined.

I loved that too. could've done with subtitles for a few bits though, I really struggled to understand what they were on about

Got fed up with Flash Forward after about 5 episodes.

Every episode would trundle along with nothing happening then the final scene would be someone discovering some tremendous revelation on a computer. Then the next episode would not make reference to that thing, and just trundle along (with absolutely appalling dialogue and acting) before that one would end with someone finding something out on a computer.

This was like Lost tho in the first few episodes, Minus the computers. Christ even after 5 seasons. i still have no idea what the fuck is going on with that island!

I watched the FF: Behind the scene's Programme that was on last week, and the guy that writes the show was going on about visions and plots he has for seaon 3 and 4! so i feel its all going to build up nicely. No need to rush it or they wouldn't have a story by season 2

Keep the faith with FF, it will come good.
