Seems reasonable. There is a Dell one of pretty much same spec for the same price.
Only downer is it says it's Win 7 32bit. Which means 4Gb of RAM is pointless, a 32 bit OS can only use max 3Gb. Won't really make much difference though. The Dell one comes with 64 bit Win 7. The Medion one does come with Wireless-N and Gigabit Ethernet built in, which is pretty impressive for that price.

I am still looking for a new laptop.
I had held off in the hope of picking up a bit of a bargain in the sales.
I am looking to spend between £300 - £400.
I will use it mainly for browsing the net, sending e-mails and playing poker (will be linked to 2nd monitor when doing so) I will also be looking to store music, documents & pictures on it but nothing excessive.
Any recommendations?
Thanks In Advance

have been in IT for over 20 years and am MD of a company that supplys hardware and supports networks..
Medion laptops are some of the worst put together pieces of kit ever and are sold only by high volume hyper markets...toys r us used to sell them ..no more to be said
decent laptop = Toshiba...quality and now reasonably priced...try laptopsdirect.co.uk ftw

OK quick guide..
Do not buy..
Asus
Acer
Packard Bell
Watch the so called Dell deals as they seem to add up to a lot more than advertised....
Best buys ..Toshiba,HP,Lenevo (IBM)
Spec isn't everything...
Our best seller... Toshiba L series...quality around £400..
Samsung don't look to bad..top of the 2nd tier imo

Were talking rule of thumb here... individual incidents can't really count... just giving people a guide through years of experience of dealing with and repairing computers on a commercial scale...
I don't recommend Packard Bell as they are the stock make of the Dixons groups e.g... Pc world, Dixons Currys etc... they are high volume cheaply put together pieces of kit and we have had too many in for major repairs to recommend them as a good buy.. also laptops differ to normal pc's because when they go wrong its usually serious, manafacturer warranty goes a long way here.... watch dell as they often have a 90 day return to base warranty... despite what they promise..same with pc world... their after sales and so called technicians are laughable...
