Ive been asked to build a cms site for a friend, has anyone on here got any experience with cms ?
I used to use phpnuke many years ago but i think that has been overtaken by others like Joomla.

Any help much appreciated!

i used php for my guild site and found it great. saying that it was primarily for forums with a few nifty addon's.

Joomla is fine, very similar but more professional looking, pretty easy to setup.

I've used Joomla a few times and can thoroughly recommend it useability wise.
There are plenty of free extensions out there to accomodate most things
