Well i played my last live tournament of 2009 tonight. I cant really say ive been enjoying poker lately. Ive not had a decent touch for a while and have started thinking of the game as a way to make money rather than enjoying it as a hobby. Beats are getting hard to take and are becoming more frequent and rediculous! Im making lots of small errors that is a big leak in my game! I enjoy the social side of things whilst playing but when the exit comes i just feel down and rubbish again!
As for the online game well ive never really found a site or variation of the game that suits me. Im just finishing off a sng I have just finished my last sng on DTDpoker and after this is finished i am now going to withdraw what little cash i have left on there! Im also removing all poker sites from my laptop.
I am going to concentrate on working hard in the new year. Im looking into a little business idea that i have and i hope this can become my new hobby as well as making me a litlle bit of extra cash. Im gonna concentrate on paying off my debts (not gambling related) and trying to save some money up as well as trying to make a living for myself. Im also looking forward to carrying on my weightloss plan and becoming more healthy!
This is not a bet or anything just something that i want to do for myself so im not ruling out playing alltogether sometime this year. My mum likes to play and may want me to take her for a game at some point, but i might drop her off then go to the cinema for a few hours or something like that.
I will still post on here as i like the forum and think there is more to it here than just the poker!
