CASHING OUT

Recently tried cashing out of a well known poker site,the day after they sent
E mail saying my account had been blocked due to security check.
Demanding I send them a full color caption of my passport inc bar code,
a recent utility bill and a copy of my visa deposit .......
Surley this cant be right ?
Can any 1 help

Pretty standard on most sights.
After having this a few times i keep scanned documents ready for this.
Easy thing to do is send the details as soon as possible.

Suck it up, send them the info and get your cash. If they're well known then they're an international company, they aren't going to steal the small amount from your account.

I could try mocking up a passport for you on photoshop. you'll need to send me a recent photo and let me know what nationality you want to be

might be best to just send the details, it's superstandard. you can generally black out some bits if you really want

must have become standard recently, the only site to ask me for ID to cashout was blonde. party asked me when i moved house and i had to type my TV license number or something into stars recently but that's been it

stars was just age verification that they introduced recently but most (for about the last 2 years) want address verified too

i just cleared out all my accouts apart from stars none of them asked me for any additional info

I should add i have moved house recently and changed address so maybe that is why i have had to do it a lot recently.
But once you have done the scans/photos its no big deal.

Just do it and get teh moniez

Thanks everyone for replies. I was a bit sketchey on first post so full story.....
Don't play on line much at all, only live seriously. Poker site is hollywood poker
seemed to av good free rolll system to pass my time. May av miss read it but
seemed like I had to deposit to cash in the best I could, when I did I thought
I needed to deposit at least $50. WRONG.

So I asked to cash out the day after into the same visa account.They said
"yes but I would loose my bonus" , I said no probs.
  Thats when they blocked my account
They were happy enough to take my money without passport etc
why 24 hrs later they need them. Also I've been told by my bank not to send colour
copy of passport.       
CONFUSED OR WHAT  Sorry to appear so ignorant maybe its just me

you deposited then cashed out without playing they will be worried about money laundering

i will never send passport or copy of bank statement but other players dont seem to have any problem with it

Why don't you leave the money on there and give $5/10 a shot?  After all, you won at the other games right?  How hard can it be!
