I've never had a 3G but from what I hear the 3GS is a notable improvement. Everything on my 3GS is really fast and slick. I think it'd spoil the experience a lot if this wasn't the case. And £100 up front isn't all that much when you add up the total cost of the contract. 3GS I reckon.

checking online they do say that the 3G-S is a lot faster and has loads of little things that make a difference, I was just thinking if i never had an Iphone before, i wouldn't really notice the difference, as i have nothing to compare it too.
Fekk it, if im getting one i may as well go for it!

Little things like copy and pasting...i dont think that was available on the 3G but makes a hell of a difference! Its like buying a car and not getting he extras on it i guess! At the time u think ahhh i wont need the aircon but when ur roasting ur tits off in the summer u will wish u had payed that bit extra for the upgrade!! |

Why did you get rid of your blackberry. I ask because a T-mobile employee has said I can get contract from them for half price via their friends and family deal. |

I had a 3g and now have a 3gs and the improvement isnt a great deal. 3gs is certainly a bit faster for loading websites etc. Pretty sure the 3.0 software had c+p support for the 3g too?
