Stuart Rutter signs for new GUKPT Sponsors

G Casino is pleased to announce that young online poker professional Stuart Rutter will be joining them for 2010 as a sponsored player and GUKPT ambassador. This role will involve playing every GUKPT Main Event throughout the year, while helping to increase the prominence of both the GUKPT and G Casino brands throughout the poker community in the UK and beyond.

Stuart is a Cambridge maths graduate who has impressively applied his number crunching skills at the online poker tables, becoming one of the most prolific mid/high stakes cash game players on the iPoker Network in recent years. He is also a successful regular on the live tournament circuit, making the Final Table of both 2008 and 2009 GUKPT Grand Finals, and only last week winning almost €60,000 finishing 3rd in the first major European tournament of the year in Helsinki.

In his spare time Stuart still tutors mathematics and will be sharing those skills with the gcasino community throughout 2010, by appearing at various GUKPT Academy and G Casino VIP sessions offering poker coaching and advice.

The GUKPT returns this week for the 1st Leg of 2010 at the G Casino in Bolton, which will culminate in a £1,000 entry Main Event on January 22nd-24th. After three successful years in partnership with Blue Square Poker, the Tour this year welcomes a new sponsor in gcasino. com, the online incarnation of the fastest growing casino brand in Britain, which will be the home of GUKPT online qualifiers.

My absolute & hearty congrats & best wishes to Stu. He's in the same league as Thewy as to "has no enemies". He's bright, intelligent, personable, & a lovely fella.

Congrats Dr Rutter.

Few nicer guys around, Stu really deserves all his success. The one word that stuck out from that article for me was 'ambassador' - Stu is, and will continue to be a great one for the game and his sponsors.

Literally the polar opposite of his brother Tom, who, is not only crap, but also a horrible person too.
