Due to the current Cardroom situation in blonde, I'm sorry to infiorm you that Kev will be leaving his employment with blondepoker at the end of the month.

We've been well & tuly turned over by Aqua, as you know, & with the current situation, we just don't have the income, or the job for him, any more.

Kev has been kept fully appraised of our position for some time now, & we were hoping a solution would be agreed in time. It was not to be.

The two main Shareholders - & indeed Tighty - have all dipped into their pockets considerably - & Kev has worked heroically to promote the Cardroom despite the obduracy of Aqua.

Kev has spent more time on this Forum than anyone else, no exceptions. And I shall be surprised if that changes - Kev has been wholly supportive, & understanding, of the situation.

We have 2 solid deals on the Table, & a third in the offing, but it's hard to know what the shape of the Company will be until we have agreed something with one of the proposed Partners or Buyers.

So, that's it I'm afraid.

It's a relief that Kev understands the score, & to him goes my sincere thanks for that, & for everything he's done for blonde down the years.

He will remain as a Moderator, unless he decides to take a break.

I also hope to help him find some work, either elsewhere, or on a Freelance basis with blonde in the future. Some of the proposals in front of us include a restoration of our blonde Live Updates, so you never know.

Thanks Kev.

I don't think anyone could have done a better job than Kev promoting and running the cardroom.

As from the end of January, I shall no longer be working for blonde poker.

Circumstances being what they are with the new ipoker rules and practices has seen our business decimated, and it became patently clear that my position and the card room as was, is no longer viable.

Rich is working flat out to find an alternative solution for the business, but nothing is in the pipeline that would have the means to keep me on the payroll. I fully understand the problems and although it is never nice to lose your job there really was no option.

I will of course carry on as is until the end of Jan, and as such it is business as usual until then, so keep PM'ing me and emailing if you have any issues card room wise.... I will also remain on hand for the transition and hand over at the end of the contract with our provider.

Can I take this opportunity to say how much I have enjoyed working for blonde, and I hope that I have been successful in bridging the gap between the player and the provider in terms of customer service, and bringing you fun games and leagues over the years which included some added value at times, but always a laugh and some fun.

Not sure where I go from here (apart from the job centre Cheesy ) ... but I will still be around on blonde after the end of the month, I have far too many friends on here to walk away.

Thanks to everyone who has supported both blonde and myself in my position as card room manager, it was and is greatly appreciated.
