Shut it you Couldnt careless about the poker, I will play whatever, if and where I fancy it. Not overly bothered about big shows either. But if I can go see some bands somewhere small (whilst drinking Mr Eccles) then that would be nice. I managed a whole 1 tournament in 18days this year, I spent the rest of the trip in a Vodka/Jaeger/Sambuca induced stupor and of the 4 trips I've had it was by far the best!! Trawling the centre strip bars is com o'sheas, IP Karaoke Bar is ace fun, Carnaval Court Margaritaville all good crack. If you look on ticketmaster in Vegas the dates you are there it will tell you a lot of the stuff that is on from big acts to some obscure ones too. |

Just read Lost Vegas by Dr Pauly: the guy who writes the Tao of Poker blog. Gives a good view of what Vegas is really like. A bit too many tales that you would already know if you followed poker/WSOP but still a decent read. |

Anyone care to explain a good strategy for playing craps?
Am I right in thinking a good way to start is just betting the pass line with a similar bet behind it as an odds bet?
