snap call river

guy has AK

read op. guy has

lol, took me a second to get that Smiley

Please fold 100% of the time in this spot pre. I guess you have to pass the river, AJ, AQ, KT all too likely, and although less likely it could be a funky set...

Obviously raise or fold pre but as played the river looks a pretty easy call for me.

Just realised I misread the hand, I thought we checked behind on the turn, not him.

Now AQ/AJ/KT seem less likely.

The only hand that really beats us where checking the turn isn't kinda weird is AA. On that basis I kinda want to call now. But he could just always have played the hand weird :-/

im not sure its played that weird for AA

tries to iso pre
bets flop
cant lay down AA to the c/r
hits gin on the turn (with < a pot sized bet behind so hopes that I will get the money on for him)
jams the river because i didnt do the job

given that this is rush poker and it is easy to eliminate various hands, i think it stinks of AA

I wasn't saying he played it weird if it was Aces, I was saying it would be weird if it was any of the other hands that have us beat.

His line definitely makes sense with AA, but it doesn't mean he hasn't spaz jammed the river with something random...

Fold pre.  If you call pre then raise the flop bigger.  As you played it the villian is unlikely to have AA here, or any set imo.  I'd call
