Simon Trumper has gone to Paris - via Eurostar, lucky bugger - for the European Poker Awards, where's he's been nominated again.

For what he's done at DTD as to how Tournaments should be run, nobody deserves the Award more. He does the job at DTD spectacularly well, night in, night out, 4 Tourneys a day sometimes, & all run beautifully.

If anyone deserves a Poker award, he does, imo, & I'm privileged to be able to call him a close friend. He's honest, with a terrific sense of humour, generouus, caring, & most of all, he's a man's man, a good man.

Good luck Simon.

Hope he gets it. If there's any justice, it will be a shoo in.

Got to agree with you guys, nobody deserves an award more than Simon.

Best of luck Simon!

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Best of luck and will be well-deserved if he wins.

Players at DTD will be delighted that he's away in Paris for a few days.  It'll mean a break from having to listen to him over the microphone... Wink
