Quick question...your total bankroll...is this the profits for the year?

Methinks someone hasn't been following the thread very closely!

Guilty as charged

Been following it for a while though

Expected flamed for the question...been meaning to ask for ages

Come on Claw, tell em what the pic above represents

only just noticed this. Not really sure, but would guess something like - 1)  Soup-port-of-dover?  2) Soup-pot-over?

What happened to ur student?

We've did one session and agreed to start it properly in the new year,at the minute they want it to remain private but hopefully if it goes well then they'll have the confidence to say.

Well done monda...

Supernova...wiii

Quick question...your total bankroll...is this the profits for the year?

That's a helluva grind

I was thinking that you possibly withdraw living expenses regularly...

Next question.....teach me...plz...lol

I've been living off the pokers comfortably this year withdrawing regularly and trying to build the roll at the same time.

Enjoying my little break and it's worked out well timing wise as I've got a cold and I'm a massive drama queen so wouldn't have played even if I was planning to.

I had forgotten until recently that I had even set myself any goals at the start of this and couldn't remember what they where as the goals I had set then became kind of irrelevant as when I started the thread I had no immediate plans to go full time with the pokers.I did manage to achieve 2 out of the 3 goals and in my defence I'd say I kind of achieved the third as when I set the goal of having a 10k br that was with the intention of making no withdrawals so we can just pretend I achieved them all imo.

Setting goals is an interesting dynamic I feel because although they can help to spur you on I wonder should you be setting very tough goals to reach or just set yourself goals that although you should achieve and would be disappointed not to it would still be a successful year if you managed them.I'm not really explaining what I mean there as I definitely think you should always strive to do the best you possibly can, anyway here are the goals I'm setting myself for 2011.

- Reach 200k vpp's
- Make $50k+ inc rb from 45mans
- Make $10k+ from online mtt's
- Finish the year as the no1 45man player on Stars, according to sharkscope. (With my poor finish at the end of this year I ended up 3rd in the 5's-15's )

I think they are all achievable but good, tough goals to set and it'll be a good year if I finish off 4/4 and I certainly plan too.

I will have the rest off the week off as planned and enjoy watching England win the Ashes in style then go have some fun with the Sky lot in town at the weekend before getting back to grinding next week.
