Just had a really good session with Rupert. I think I'm going to move over to ipoker as I'll get 60% rakeback and I'm going to lose SN at the end of the month so I'd only be getting 27% on stars. We did a longer session than normal and it's giving me a confidence boost that he also thinks that there's no way I'm a breakeven reg at these games since naturally my confidence has taken a hit with my poor results thus far. I think I will play on stars for the next couple of days while sorting out moving over.
Sounds good, do you get all the 60% r/b or is this split to?
If all to you and you were to breakeven what would this mean in £££ on your current volume?
Obv if you dont mind
We split rb. Depending on volume I could rake anything between $1-2.5k 4 tabling 100nl, I think 2k isn't an unrealistic target. As I said to Rupert though, I don't just want to be a rakeback pro.

Urghhhhh, another brutal session.
I was down 2 bi within 100 hands, KK<<<<AA btn v co and got rivered a couple of times by fish. Grinded some back and was in for 140. Then took a nice beat with 1010 v A10 on a A10xhh A x board. I was down around 300 then ran J7 into KJ on a K7xJhh board, he was only playing 50bbs. Then lost a bit more with A7hh v AQ on a Q98hh9A board. Overall finished down $430.
I owe out £500 to someone that needs it by the end of the month, I had hoped when I cashed in rb I would have a couple of £100 spare to tide me over for a bit but now I'm just about going to cover paying that. I've cashed in my fpps on Stars which was for $2150 so it will have to clear mu now and I'll just about have the £500.
Another really disappointing day but again, not whinging, I can't afford too haha, oh well, nevermind.

I presume you only use points earnt playing for Rupert to buy bonuses towards the stake, and the points u had from sngs for yourself you use as you please ?

I had 26k fpps before we started so we just worked that out seperately for what it was worth as part of the bonus recvd.

Liking the v.honest posts mate, and obv really willing you on atm.
Are the $100 NL games on Stars reg-fests?
Are the times that you play based on a schedule that suits your lifestyle, or times when the games are best?

Thanks.
Most tables I sit on there's me and 3/4 other regs, and 1/2 fish.
I play the times when games are best which is between 7/8pm-4/5am.
Hows u ? Still crushing on Sky and the live games ? Will have to pop down once I get out this hole and stick it in your eye blind again, wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Ha.
In seriousness though, I don't find the games particularly tough on ipoker. You do get a lot of fish playing on sportsbook type accounts etc. I'm actually very interested for Pleno to make his post about where to play on the forum rather than to you in Skype. I think it would bring up some interesting questions and discussion, whether it's negative of ipoker or not.

I came back from the Vic last night and grinded online 3am-7am, games were incredible compared to euro hours.

Ray. Why don't you just go back to the 45 mans where you were like the best in the world or something?
Alternatively what's wrong with the 180s? They start fairly regularly from what I can see.
Surely with Rupert's backing you could play the $15 and $35 180s and make a decent amount?
I know I've played a few of these myself and the standard especially at the weekend seems absolutely woeful!!

As far as 45 mans are concerned, for one I wasn't enjoying playing them anymore, but more importantly I think they've died or at least people aren't achieving a very good roi% as they where, I maybe wrong about that but when I looked at the total profit on the sharkscope leaderboard the other week I think the no1 player on stars playing all stakes of 45's had earned $18k or summit and considering he's probably putting in good volume that's not really great for 8 months of grinding your bollocks off, again I'm just presuming that as I didn't check how many games it was over.
The 180's would be something to consider if I where to fail at this....
However, I don't plan to fail at this and I'm certainly not giving up just yet. It would be a lot tougher for me to justify not just giving up and going back to sngs where I'd expect I could earn a decent amount if I didn't have Rupert's confidence in me as well as the confidence I have in myself, one of the many side benefits to being backed. Even when I was crushing the 45's a few days and a tough downswing and my confidence would decrease to the point I'd be doubting myself, and I know of a few players better than me and achieved more than me who go through the same mental struggle so I don't think that's a concern.
