Cheers for the gl wishes all,sigh at live pokers.
I got in from work today and I was pretty tired as I'm still trying to catch up on sleep from the weekend.However,I wanted to grind so started a session but after 40 games I was wrecked and playing bad so stopped.Although it's important I make SN its no good trying to grind when I'm that tired.Luckily I ran ok and ended up in profit of just under $60.
I'm going to a talk in on Thursday night with John Beresford as the host and after Thursday I'm staying off the drink completely until I've made SN,it's the only way it's going to get done.It's been years since I even went a week without having a drink,I don't think that's a big deal as I certainly don't have a drink problem cough cough,I just like going out.

Insane day today!
I finished down in the 6's,140k chips below ev and yet have had my best winning day at these ever.I thought I was going to manage my first comma day but I didn't manage it,obviously not bothered about that and chuffed with today.Hoping to reach 4k and then withdraw 1k so I'll be comfortable and then not make another withdrawal until I'm above 5k and then always keep the roll at 5k.
Games today : 250
Profit today : $914.50
Games total : 290
Profit total : $973.00
Current bankroll : $3199.47

how do you find the motivation to play sngs?
after some tourney wins i find it almost impossible to grind

I've never won a tournament to lose the motivation  I do still enjoy grinding,its a lot better than my other job and much more enjoyable and its pretty rare thing to enjoy your job so I'm pretty lucky to have that. |

I went for a couple of pints last night,think there was about 7 of us sitting at the table and everyone of us thought we wouldn't win tonight,FFS why do we always do it and mess up in games we should win after managing a shock result so the great Arsenal result on Sunday was pretty much pointless.Will be pleased to come mid table this season as I thought that we'd go back down but that is all we will manage.

i watchd the newcastle game online, i dont think they deserved to lose 2bf, but they certainly didnt look like the team who were putting 5 past us and beating arsenal.
also, does it worry you that Newcastle seem to be becoming one of them route one teams? people usually have a go at Bolton, Blackburn etc for doing this, it seems that Newcastle are on their way to becoming this.

Obviously we play a lot of long balls as we have two big strikers but I wouldn't say we where a route one team,we play some good stuff in the middle of the park. |
