Today I met Ray for the first time! I am afraid I have to confirm that all the rumours are true - he is a thoroughly nice chap!
I unfortunately arrived late, 5 mins after the start of some game that was on today
I obv went to watch the game with Ray in his local, and right up until 3 mins from time the day was going well. I like the toon, but as with many geordies Ray is a pasionate fan and the last minute fluke by the mackems was a bitter blow! Ray is a proper geordie and he was truely devvd! It was a shame I couldnt hang around after the game as I had to pick my wife up, but as he had pre warned me "if we lose I might not be great company"!
UL mate - great to meet you, and you are more than welcome at mine if you come to Leeds for the pokerz in May!
Cheer up, and maybe starting the grind of 2011 will help clear the head!
