Hi Ray.
I read your diary every day, (or at least every day that you update it). Most of the conversation is on subjects I know very little about - Beer, football, poker etc.
Having said that, I know from experience that feedback and interaction is the lifeblood of diaries. I enjoy reading, so I should, and will, make an effort to contribute.

I've been having a look in that forum where I got the ticket for the mackems game for and interesting debate on there...
Someone selling two tickets for it and wants £100 for each ticket, everyone saying it's bad crack to sell more than face value to fellow Newcastle fans. Personally I don't really see why someone should feel obligated to sell the ticket to a random for face value, it'd be bad crack to try and profit from a mate but otherwise I don't really see the problem. When I used to go to the match we always had spares and it was such a joke how much hassle was involved with it. You'd try to do someone a favour and give them a free ticket and it would mostly end up either having to put yourself out to go to the otherside of town to give them it, or they'd say to meet outside the ground and they'd be late and you'd miss the start, got to the point where we just said we'd never get involved as you rarely got any gratitude for it, just a thank you would've done /rant.
The season before I actually gave it up it got a bit ridiculous, me and a close mate just really weren't enjoying it at all, the football was terrible, can't remember who was manager at the time, pretty sure it was Fat Sam. It got to the point where we'd get there 15 minutes late, then 10 minutes later without anything happening one of us would be txting the other saying "fancy going back to x,y,z" other would snap say yes and off we'd go. As I mentioned in an earlier post, it's not really about the football why people love it up here so much, it just determines how the day goes

No, not really Ray. I tried it a bit when I was young because I wanted to look cool, but the truth is, it just made me feel bad. I don't mean I had a hangover the next day, I mean I felt bad while I was drinking it.
Also, I'm a crazy drunk. I'm the type of drunk who takes his clothes off and streaks past a police station or kisses a bouncer for a dare.

I'm also a singing drunk. I'm convinced that I'm a great singer and everyone wants to listen to me.

LOL
When I woke up yesterday, housemate just started laughing at me, oops. He told me I woke him up singing Adele, mb soz, he then said "wierd thing was I could hear you singing but couldn't hear any music playing", eh yeah, I put my headphones on so I didn't make any noise.
Supposedly I also don't have a great singing voice, but a very high pitched one, told him just to come in and tell me to stfu next time.

lol i always sing really quietly with no pitch when i have headphones in knowing i can't hear my own voice meaning i will probably be shouting the song without realising. Plenty a time a family member has popped in to say stfu.

I went back into my old work place today so I could scan passport/bill to sort out the ID issue with Stars, was good to catch up with a few people. I then went to try the barbers at the end of my street but it was shut at half 4, sigh. So I just headed into town since it's only like 5 minutes on the bus, went to a barbers I've used a few times and the shutter is just being pulled down when I get there, really. Third time lucky as I found a "trendy" one that was open until 7, by trendy I just mean it costs a bit more
I hate getting my haircut, it's like an interview. I used to go in and say, short on the sides leave a little on the top, and 20 minutes later it was done, hey presto. Now they always ask loads of questions and most of the time I have no idea what they're going on about, so I just say yeah and hope for the best. It cost £16 today, which is a lot up 'narf imo, most I've ever paid anyway, wasn't really bothered tbh as I was just glad it got done.
Be back grinding from tmoro until Saturday.

Haha, had this wife cutting my hair who was pretty chatty, she was canny though, she was probs like mid late 30's, decent, was going on about going clubbing etc, twice she says "I'm too old for ...." I'm thinking is she hinting for a compliment here or what, so she gets an "your as old as you feel".
I had a proper nutter taxi driver today actually, was talking about the derby coming up when he says about some "****" that worked for the taxi firm that lives in Wallsend but is a mackem, when joker park got took down he was saying the bloke had one of the turnstiles fitted in his garden or something, he then says " if you've got a few mates you should go round with some baseball bats" WHAT THE FUCK ? PHSYCHO.

You can take a pic of the ID stuff on your phone and send it from there or upload it to comp and email it rather than having to go scan it btw.

Hi Ray.
Just wanted you to know I read your Diary TWICE a day, (or at least every day that you update it).
I know loads about football & poker, too. I also used to drink a lot. Not so much now. At all.
