ul Ray, Defo due a big one.

ooi what was the general consensus why it wasn't even close?

I stake someone on stars (micros) and I get 50% of all his freerolls / cash rewards and he also plays sats using fpps which I get half of. I would have thought you would have chopped it up between all your backers for various things as I am assuming it is because of them really that you have been able to make supernova? This was my first time staking someone on a serious level and I must admit I wasn't too sure how to handle cash rewards / freerolls but this is what my horse suggested and it seemed fair to both parties.

Apologies if you think it's a bit too soon but I was genuinely quite surprised that you had 100% of yourself tbh.

Ray made supernova mainly off his own dime though, these free rolls are the benefit of previous work.

What Longy said basically, I've always been Supernova, the deal I have doesn't include rakeback and this is basically a rakeback reward.

Ah ic ic, yeah that makes sense then else the backers would just be benefiting off your previous grindage. Completely different to my sitchu where the guy was nothing and is now approaching Platinum, we also came to the joint conclusion that it wouldn't be fair for him to be breakeven or even lose then just pocket the rakeback whilst I took all the risk with no return.

Apologies for questioning scrooge. UL again, sick way to bust but $1600 is $1600..

GL on the Sunday grind.

It's fine obv.

Ye it's a nice return from a freeroll obv, but I've made no money from 180s in four months basically, and I'm in like $12k debt with no Stars roll and no life roll so $1600 isn't going to go that far. Just to give some perspective to the moan since otherwise I look a bit of a twat at moaning Smiley

Again though, it wasn't my time, will keep working hard and get out of this hole I'm in.

Rakeback is a good motivation to grind too. I imagine the guys who stake hyper sng players must get some or it wouldn't be worth it. Just about fitting the deal around the circumstances. Big score is coming mate!

Yeh in te vast majority of deals rakeback is always included and I've often thought about these MTT deals on forums as horse always keeps rakeback where generally it would all be thrown in together and was one of the reasons I haven't invested in a few of them. Always thought if 28% of volume or better, 28% of rake is done in an MTT deal then 28% I the rakeback conversion should be included. I'm not sure last playing and volume has much of a say in this. If anything being a certain level is more of another good incentive to stake whoever the op is.

However in this case ray doesn't give x% of the stellar rewards or the other things so absolutely he should have 100% of the tournament.

Would also say because of ray deal being so complex with different backers for 2/3 different variants it's definitely less of a reason to share the rakeback but let's say I put a staking thread up for nl200 next year and I kept all of te rakeback it would be seen as pretty bad right? What if I put a staking thread up for nl500 but was already supernova this year (I am) and kept my own action at nl200 would I still keep all the rakeback? It's basically the same situation if in not mistaken here.

Anyways ray is always the most upfront and honest guy and anybody who knows him or has met him will say exactly that an is more transparent and updates perfectly and I'm not trying to call him out about it here or anytihing I just think in general (dans/Jamie's/chris/etc) I don't see a reason why rakeback would not be included especially for those where small rois are to be expected ((have no idea of actual roi in these stuff just sayig as a general point))

Hyper deals absolutely have rakeback included. It's the main reason why people take the deals on. Mouldy onions has a syndicate where he gets staked and the rake is crazy.

Started reading this thread back from the start and I was posting in v early 2010. Nearly 4 years ago that's pretty crazy right?

We all interact with each other as much as we would friends at university or school or a job.

4 years has for so fast and poker has changed so much. You were playing the 45 mans and I loved defending them up just 1 tablibg as an amateur. Was surprised they ended up dieing they were so big on full tilt.

Also often think this but it's plausible in like 15 years sonebody could have a million posts on a forum, pretty crazy.

Also thought about this and it becomes very problematic.

Ill just use myself as an example.

I sell for 500/1k,zoom and keep, own 200 action. For first few months I share out the teller rewards depending on where we are etc however in November I finish the deal and I'm due to get a big supernova elite bonus in 4 weeks and there is the supernova freeroll but I have my own action now, it becomes very complicated about the action and stars is general is very tough compared to say 60% flt on a euro site.

Sorry for posting in diary btw people were discussing it here but maybe it would be better moved to the staking discussions or wte its called

I just by chance read your post pleno (don't take offence Ray, I don't read anyone's diary) and I've been thinking the same thing recently.

Perhaps bigger discussion should be made and a separate thread is made.
