What is The League?  Any good?

I watch pretty much any good series.

Toptops for me:

Breaking Bad
Sopranos
Criminal Minds (Prefer the earlier stuff with Guideon)
24
Homeland
Burn Notice
The Wire

Really big on crime/politics/espionage/spy shit.  So if anyone has any good recs get them up and I can start downloading.

My other half is into all that vampire pish, think I'm gonna buy her a laptop of her own so she can download it as I'm sick of having it on mine.

I've just about finished the 1st season of Criminal Minds, I only started watching it last week though and agree on Gideon 100%, was a bit disappointed to see he leaves after 3 seasons though.

I've not watched it yet, but my old man loves NCIS and that is currently in it's 10th season. The Mentalist is one of my favourite shows, Simon Baker plays a really great role as the main character in that.

NCIS: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0364845/

NCIS is reasonable.  Downside though to NCIS and Criminal Minds is its a new theme every week.  I quite like something that drags out keeps me enthralled and I can watch loads on one day.  I like a good plot.

Watching Hunted from the BBC which isn't too bad.

Others well worth watching Brotherhood - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0457229/ - def one of my favourites.

I thought The Mentalist was shite, same thing every episode for one and a half seasons was enough for me.

I've not started it yet, but will probably get around to it at some point and there  is also NCIS LA too.

The Mentalist runs on a new story with every episode, but Patrick Jane the main character has a backstory and which develops through the season and then you get swerve balled at the end.

Brotherhood is great, I caught an Episode just before/after it had ended and once download I finished it in a week. Some great characters and that Michael Caffee is some boy Cheesy

I'd say House would be one to watch and one of my favourites. Not in the makeup of any listed by yourself, but a great show and Hugh Laurie is an absolute boss.

Lie To Me is another show I really enjoyed, with Tim Roth in the lead role and a great character he plays too. Surprised that they cancelled it after 3 seasons, as it was definitely one they could have continued with and they never resolved the 'situation' between he and his business partner....

Justified is really good, Timothy Olyphant plays a Deputy US Marshal and Shane from the Shield plays the local criminal.

Life with Damian Lewis was a good show for the 2 seasons it lasted,  Sarah Shahi is his partner to balance things up if you're averse to looking at gingers for too long.

A lot of these shows are the same kind of scenario playing out each episode, but with different characters. The back story is interesting, I think that Simon Baker plays a great part and they gotta catch Red John sometime Smiley

Just watched the 1st of an 8 part series on ITV4 called Sports Life Stories. This week it was Barry McGuigan, well worth watching.

How do I download free stuff to my ipad to watch?

I download using Piratebay and uTorrent and then move the files into my iTunes via Playable PRO. I'm not sure if that is the best way, but it does the trick and is simple enough to do.

That si exactly how I do it too.  You cant download directly onto ipad afaik because Apple dont allow torrent software without jailbreaking.  I havent looked into jailbreaking as this way works well enough.

Walking Dead was amazing, been a great start to this series.

Anyone watch Derren Brown's new show? It was one of the most compelling things I've seen in ages, can't wait for part 2.

I've got loads running atm and I'm not watching any of them. I've just finished Rescue Me, which was really good and I'm now watching Criminal Minds.

Blue Bloods
Burn Notice
Dexter
Fringe
Homeland
IASIP
Nikita
SOA
The Good Wife
The League
The Mentalist
The Office
The Vampire Diaries

Should save me from too much Xmas television and I can just plot myself up out of the way in the office.

Add Boardwalk back in. Might take some effort to get through eps 1 to 3 but it's getting better.
