Homeland S02 E02 excellent with a cracking build up to ep3.

Agree. homeland end their episodes on great cliffhangers. Ep 2 had me jumping up and down shouting expletives. Cannot wait for next ep.

Any other Modern Family fans here? That's started again. I love it. October is such an incred month for tv shows.

I found Treme hard work, dull and lifeless.

Just IMO

I love Treme but I can understand why people would have this view.  It certainly isn't fast moving but it is just such an incredible love story for a place in the same way as Simon wrote a love story for Baltimore in The Wire.

Just found out they've already signed Treme up for a shortened final season after the 3rd, so I'll wait I think and watch it all in one hit once it's finished next year.

Might pile into NCIS, that will give me 10 seasons to keep myself busy with and I can then head onto LA after that.

Well 2 outta 3 aint bad Smiley

I'd rewatch the first half of The Shield happily enough, but not sure about the 2nd which I didn't enjoy as much.

Have to say Walton Goggins who played Shane in The Shield, plays a great part in Justified opposite Timothy Olyphant (Deadwood)

Because I was a bit of a super fan, I happen to know that Goggins is a pretty extreme method actor in the Daniel Day-Lewis mould. He wasn't much fun to be around on set for the last few series but great away from it.

Michael Chiklis plays a truly incredible part. Second half of the Shield sees Forrest Whittaker playing a role that is parodied in a recurring joke in American Dad.

Definitely a show that was received better in the States than here.
Really enjoyed the Shield but I was always thinking it was Ross Kemp, which was a little off putting

Fantastic Walton Goggins appearance in the latest Sons of Anarchy.

I won't put a picture up as it would be a bit of a spoiler but the link below for Goggins fans who aren't bothered about SOA might be fun.
