Has anyone been watching Leftovers?

Started of slow but got better with each episode. The last one which deals with what happened on the fateful day was superb.

I watched the 1st season, they've just rinse repeated Lost all over again, complete bullshit that makes no sense but yet is super interesting and you have to keep watching. Maybe I'm just not intelligent enough to follow it.

I'll definitely watch it now then!

<3 Lost

Leftovers is really really good. If you like Lost, its a grittier, darker, and less tilting version of it. Plus it has Christopher Eccleston in it.

Lost is one of my all time favourite shows, and I never found it tilting, at all.

I understood why it irked so many people, but I just loved the characters, and their journeys.

If you wanted answers, you were 1.01 to need some kind of anger management class after it finished Cheesy

I've got so many shows to start, I don't even know where to begin!

I would regularly watch Lost with a hangover, and literally just stare at the screen for an hour wondering what the fuck was going on, it was just so random it was insane. I loved it early on then just got annoyed by it but had to keep watching, was glad when it finished Smiley

It's not a patch on GOT or Breaking Bad imo.

I loved Lost, really did. It's only afterwards when I think back at it do I see the cracks.

LOL at all the people who whined about no answers, in America they genuinely had subtitles to explain what was going on.

For all its flaws it was exciting, with great actors and great characters.

Best scene ever (MAJOR SPOILER):

Miss Sawyer too

This guy too

This was got me hooked

Agree about great actors and the characters were quality. Don't really think any of them have done much afterwards but think that's partly just because Lost was so big it's hard to see past that as those characters.

I was thinking the exact same thing just now. Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Hurley, Locke, Ben, Desmond - very hard to see past those characters.

Jack played the lead villain in an Alex Cross movie, but I haven't seen him in anything else.

Ben is one of the lead characters in a show that my old man watches 'Person of Interest', and that's been going for 4 seasons.

Locke has been in a few things, and was the top cop in a show I just finished a while back 'Gang Related'

Haven't seen Hurley in anything, bar a small role as a drug dealer in Californication.

Des was in the Mentalist for a couple weeks, but much like the others, haven't seen much of him.

Can't remember seeing Sawyer, or Kate in anything.

I actually preferred Lost, of the 3 you mentioned, Ray.

Then again, I watch the Vampire Diaries, so my tastes are a little off the norm Grin

Recently got into Parks and Rec.

It's so refreshing to have a show where all the characters are essentially nice, likeable, positive, good at their jobs, like each other. It always makes good TV to have conflict and highly flawed characters, but P&R shows you can do it the other way too.

Watched the final episode of Boardwalk Empire this morning. I thought it was a reasonable ending. The writers obviously wanted to make sure we didn't feel sorry for Nucky with that subplot flashback and with the reveal. It was a little over-egged in that respect for me.

But I did enoy it. It was a fun show.

The second series of the Fall was back on last night

anyone watyching it? think it is a wonderful series, really well done

"The Fall is a series devoted to the stalking and grisly murder of brunettes who are bold or daft enough not to carry an assault rifle at all times"
