Every single episode of both, (The Shield twice).

Without putting spoilers for those who haven't watched it, last ep of season 7, The Shield, heartbreaking and breath taking!

It probably boils down to the fact i don't like McNulty, Omar was my fav charachter by a long shot.

Genuinely did find it predictable, but that is probably a testament to how many shows and films i watch, the missus hates it as i pick up on things that seem to be out of place and predict what will happen.

If its charachter pieces you are after watch Boardwalk Empire. Love that and this next season is going to make big waves imo. (also Omar is in it)

Yeah - already have a Boardwalk Empire habit.  Definitely very good.  I will have to fnish The Shield but I find it very difficult after 4 series to see how it can be better than the best TV show ever although I am not disputing that The Shield is very good but it is like comparing Tolstoy with Jackie Collins.

Anyone watch Holy Flying Circus last night? It was a fictional retelling of the release of Life of Brian, and it had without doubt the best casting I have ever seen. Everyone they got to play a Python was shockingly accurate.

^^^^ think its the whole thing

The Wire is the bollocks and I'm really surprised to hear people even mention the Shield as being better. Apart from both being police dramas they're worlds apart for quality (imo).

I'll give the Shield props as the first 2 seasons were incred, from there it went a bit downhill imo but that didn't stop me cruising through all 7 seasons and enjoying it.

I agree with you.
As a Spielberg production it ain't half lacking big set production and feels quite poor.

The end bit of Entourage where everyone is saying "ooo, did you see the end bit after the credits".  Is that the bit with Ari and Mrs Ari in Italy when he gets the phone call or have I missed it too?  Just checking to see if I need to see it again Cheesy

Anyone watched Oz?
Thinking about starting it but any "it's great" or "don't waste your time" would be appreciated

Oz was great - pretty brutal in places.

Schillinger is one of the all-time great nasty pieces of work in drama.
